About the course
Located at the base of the ski hill at WoodWind Park, this new family-friendly 9-hole course is designed for players of all ages and skill levels. The layout features shorter holes, fun obstacles, and creative shots that make it approachable for beginners while still entertaining for experienced players.
History
This course was created through the collaboration of Trevor Smiley, Paul Frank, and Steven Doran, all members of the WoodWind Park team. After watching players experience the championship-level WoodWind Park course, it became clear that the property needed a layout that balanced the skill levels and made the sport more accessible to everyone.
Trevor brought the disc golf perspective and layout ideas, while Paul and Steven helped bring the vision to life through their work on the land and course features. Together, the goal was to design a course that keeps disc golf fun, welcoming, and approachable for players of all ages and abilities, while still incorporating creative elements that make it uniquely WoodWind Park.
The result is a family-friendly course at the base of the ski hill that adds another layer to the park’s growing disc golf destination and helps introduce more people in the surrounding community to the sport.
