No. 6 at Caldwell Lake DGC is probably The Signature Hole due to it's breathtaking beauty and how the view surprises golfers coming out of the woods. It offers a great view of Caldwell Lake!

About the course

This is an 18-hole course designed by Heath A. Dawson (Designer of Jonathan Bye Memorial DGC in Byesville, Ohio, and Bobcat Run DGC in Cambridge, Ohio) with two different layouts (Red - Shorts & Whites- Longs). Each layout has its own tees and individual greens (Red & White). You can play Red to Red, White to White, Red to White, or White to Red. You could literally play 72 holes in one day and not play the same hole. It has a mixture of open (a few bomber holes) and wooded holes (with some demanding technical lines). The course is set on beautiful Caldwell Lake and has several incredible views, including No. 6, The Signature Hole. There is also a Bald Eagle's Nest, amongst other wildlife. We hope you enjoy and respect the course. Happy playing!

This is very fun & beautiful course in what feels like a remote setting. It’s absolutely playable but seems it’s still unfinished. There’s only one active layout which is the red tees to red baskets. Some of the alternate tees (whites) didn’t seem to be a big variance from the reds or just didn’t make much sense to me as far a leap in difficulty. Either way, I’d give this course a great rating for its breath taking tee shots & beautiful scenery. It must have been quite an undertaking to get this course installed! Kudos to the people responsible & I’d love to come back & play some of the other layouts. Looking forward to seeing how this course improves as it gets more polished & worn in.

Needs signage but the uDisk app was perfect and there is great phone signal at the course. The course was awesome!!! Lots of wide open and lots of woods. Truly a gem when you’re traveling.
