There's a good course in there somewhere, but quite a few not good holes. Too many gimmick shots and the rubber tee pads aren't great, but better than nothing. Be careful of the terrain when retrieving discs that end up over the hills
@jscott79
Don’t underestimate this course, it’s a monster. The course has tight and narrow corridors, with shot variety, water play and distance. You need some finesse and accuracy to keep your score low. This place is beautiful with shots along the Catawba River that have spectacular views. Highly recommend playing here!
@antoinebondi
“Teepads” are a huge hazard ⚠️ turf, pads, concrete or something needs to be done to avoid serious injury. Back hands aren’t able to release/pivot foot after ejecting disc. hiking shoes with deep tread are strongly ill advised to wear. Wear a traditional bottom vans, or low tread shoes. Very Righty fore hand dominant course if that’s what you enjoy.
@ianrice
A very scenic course that feels like an adventure. The lines are unique and require some creativity. There is a stretch of very challenging holes that is a definite shift in the course atmosphere. The pacing could be better towards the end.
@discgolfphoenix
You are not going to beat the wildlife and scenery unless at a zoo. Anywhere from 🦌 🐢 🦅 🪿 🐿️ all over. Unmatched amenities including a zip line and ropes course. The river is extremely peaceful and serene.
@noelleerbb
easily the best course in the carolina’s
@jdgreen916
This course is “highly technical” mostly in that annoying way. For example “let’s put the basket on top of a 15ft high hill that drops off immediately on either side of it… and if there’s no hill, we’ll put it on a spiral staircase instead.” Some people might find that fun?
@regross527
One of the prettiest courses I've ever played, with the most treacherous greens I've ever played
@jmeehan631
There are a lot of things on this course that makes you go, "WTF?" and not in a good way. A few small tweaks to basket locations and some clearing of the underbrush/thorns/vines and bamboo that's infiltrating immediately off the fairway to create a scramble-able intermediate rough would go a long way to making this course great. It's worth playing once if you live in the area in its current condition, but no more than that.
@mattmarkham
Epic course that is demanding of every shot.
@slewis3321
An Absolute Gem!
@chrislifto
Ugh. That was brutal.
@zharry1
This is a super fun and technical course. Playing from the gold teepads makes for a very challenging round of golf full of placement shots and angled approaches. The Catawba River offers incredible views from several holes. But, naturally, there is potential to lose discs as well. The course would get 5 stars if they had more wayfaring signage and upgraded teepads.
@morganjreynolds
Stunning course. Somewhat hard to find your way around couple times. But overall an incredible place to play.
@jakemullins98
Super fun Woods Track! Great mix of distance and difficulty! Being from VA this was a sweet course that felt like home!
@screwattack
Needs to be mowed and brush cleared following storm. Many spider webs. Great otherwise
@pdskaar
Amazing
