Worth the drive... From Illinois. Nice variation in the course and well marked. It was fun to meet the course designer and see his creation. Go check it out!
@stellablue
Just what the doctor ordered! Mountain-desert type course with lots of lay-out options. Each hole had different variety (down hill, Up hill. Creek, shrubs. Trees. Etc). Also, plenty of landmarks to help locate your discs. We are hoping to be back tomorrow. Thank you, Matt!
@magicofbeauty20
Matt was very nice and showed us the way around his course. It was beautiful to play at and challenging. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area!
@stephenstein
Matt is a great host and made a fun local course. Brought out a crew of friends and he welcomed us and showed us around. We had a blast, the course is mainly over rough terrain so bring shoes. Best to have Matt around to help identify the next basket. Very fun for a home made course and very hospitable from Matt.
@jjustice420
A fantastic layout and a wonderful break fro. The tree covered courses I usually throw!! Thanks Matt!
@wehneri
Such a fun spot. Matt is awesome, super responsive and great when you get there. Has extra discs if you need them. There to help with beginners and overall just an awesome guy. Can’t say enough but if you’re near Westcliffe take the time to play here!

This course was really great! I was visiting Colorado with some friends of mine and this course was nearby so we stopped by. The owner does a great job of telling you where things are, and if you need help with anything, he is more than happy to help. His property is really beautiful and he has done a great job setting up 3 courses with nine holes. I only played the white and blue (the other is black which is the hardest of them). The white course is a bit more beginner friendly but still gives a good challenge to someone a bit more advanced with the hills. The blue was my favorite of the two course and utilized the trees on the property very well making some if the holes a bit more challenging. This was a great experience being out there with different layouts suiting whatever difficulty you feel like playing, and Matt is awesome, helpful, and super friendly. I had a chance to break the record on 18 holes front nine white and back nine blue tees. Sadly i did not convert on a couple of putts, but i still tied the record at -6. Very happy with this course.
@psutbone
Matt and Camp Navajo are just great. Elevation and wind are either your friend or your enemy. Great layout for 5 acres with multiple chances for ace runs. Friendly hosts, easy paths, visible baskets. Will totally play again.
@cohen51
Very well built course. The owner will give you a tour! Dom got -6. Course record.
@kerickson82
This is a fun course with some wide open throwing capability. There’s a good amount of elevation change, adding to the challenge on upslope shots. The course is on private land and you need to contact the owner Matt in order to get on - he’ll give you the run down on the course and point out ideal routes to walk. He’s recently updated a lot of the holes with brand new full sized baskets, there are a couple Axiom mini baskets as well and we play those as hit chains and it counts. Fun track.
@campbell1
Great course. Couple of mini baskets which makes it difficult. Not my thing, but really cool layout with nice walkways and rock piles. Matt was real cool. Definitely playing it again!
@tanneb1390
Matt and his wife are wonderful! Had a great time at this course. The mini baskets make for a fun added challenge.
@jentiahrt
We had a good time getting outside, getting some fresh air and playing this course. The hosts are welcoming too
@chieflaylo
We want to thank all of the disc golfers who have made the trip out to Camp Navajo in the past 5 years. The course has come a long way and seen many changes in this time. Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback which we have attempted to incorporate into course improvements. Please come and see us again any time!
