The long track deeply disappointed. Despite coming highly recommended, I don’t think it to anyone. With the exception of one hole, the only shot shape the course asks you to throw is straight. It largely feels like someone told the course designer the only way to make a hole interesting was to make it long or blind. Which brings up the second major problem the long track had, in that there was a lack of good signage directing you from hole to hole and many of the paths you had to take were right back down the previously mentioned blind fairways you just threw up. This course could be so much better there’s so much land and woods to work with, they just need to add varying shot shapes. Also switch the teepads to concrete. Many of the turf teepads had dips in parts of them.

Fun. Some downed trees made little more difficult with cart. Lots of wood but fun shot shapes.

A lot of challenging woods golf shots. Very rewarding if you can hit your line, which I can’t do often apparently

Next tee signs would be nice to prevent confusion especially 1 to 2 on long course.

some tees are slightly lumpy. like barely. Would probably upset a top level pro that's used to perfect tee pads

Short course is a lot of fun. Hit your lines and shoot way under. Multiple ace runs for any player level on the back 9. Don’t take a cart, several pretty big hills.

Played long course about a week ago & really liked it. Good shot shaping required, beautiful forest. I bet it’s very challenging when leaves are on the trees. Wish I lived closer so I could play here frequently.

Would rate 4.2 stars if I could. Really fun course with lots of elevation. Probably my favorite in the Nashville area. Wish it had just a touch more length and fewer short 3s

This is hands down, no question my favorite course. 2 full 18 hole courses. The short course is extremely easy and beginner friendly. The pars are super soft but it's still very fun and enjoyable. However the long course is quite the opposite. It's challenging, wooded and is the epitome of perfect woods golf with some amazing elevation and views. It's also quite the hike too! Birdies on some of the holes here require skill, perfection and some luck but it's all very doable if you execute. Missed lines can bring bogey/double into play quickly. You can find yourself scrambling on some holes even with a great drive. Be prepared to be on top of your game. Losing a disc here is rare as this course is pretty beat in and loved. Sometimes the prodigy baskets can spit out a good putt and some of the tees are sub-optimal but that's the only complaint I have.
