Is it too late to put it back how it was? 1. Safety, I guess only disc golf was considered. Who cares about little league baseball anyways? 2. Inclusivity, great for new players to have a chance to throw one on a baseball diamond but far from challenging an experienced player. 3. Attract disc golfers, you for real? Baskets only matter if the holes are good. After playing shorts and longs I can honestly say this isn’t improved.

The new design has you walk so much between holes. I’m a little disappointed honestly

The new layout is ok I guess. First issue is hole 7. That area is always super flooded after even just a little rain and now we’re throwing through it?Then hole 8 is right next to the parking lot with so much room to the left, why didn’t the basket get placed just 30 feet to the left? So many cars are going to get blasted and that’s the only interesting part about the hole! It’s also in an area, along with 18, where all the youth baseball teams hold practice so that’s gonna be a problem. After hole 10, you’re right behind hole 1 so that’s not safe. Holes 16 and 18 are laughable and would be saved if some bushes, trees, hedges or some sort of obstacles were installed. The old layout wasn’t the best, but at least it was well planned with an actual thought out design. This just feels like someone’s preferred Safari style course on a pre-existing course. I expected to be impressed but instead I’m just sad. Not because it’s bad, it’s not, I just wish we still had the old layout. At least perrysburg is only 15 minutes away.

These are my first opinions after my first game at the course redesign, they are subject to change if somehow some way this course ends up feeling different in the long run, but after my first 18 here, I am not pleased. Lazy design. Every trees area has turned into a hyzer spike or tomahawk throw. The ceiling is too low to throw any thing else. It used to be tunnel shots with variety. Now it's just a maze of trees with no clear tunnel. If you love to throw over the top on everything you'll be fine. The old course allowed for variety on the shots. All this course needed was new baskets and lower par. The two holes designed around the 8ft tall baseball fence are very dumb. Hope you have upper body strength to go up and over. The redesign claims it's supposed to be for beginners, but it seems like whoever designed is an avid over the top player who doesn't really focus on the challenge of the actual hole but rather how far they can throw it from the tee pad. Some of us like to play the game the way it's intended through the woods and using a variety of discs to turn and fade throughout the fairway. So the only thing beginners are going to walk out of this course doing is having cut up fingers from climbing fences and maybe a better concept of a spike hyzer, tomahawk, or thumber. The course was perfect before for beginners. You could go up to almost any tea pad and shoes if you wanted to go left or right and learn to play your turn out better or learn to play your fade or learn to play a backhand or learn to play a forehand, but now you have like a mess of trees in front of some of these tee pads. There are a handful of holes that are still okay. But any of the areas that used to be fun because of the trees are now gone. This course is no longer any fun. I'm not the only person that has thought this, numerous people I've spoke to are not pleased with the new design. Hopefully they'll leave a review as well. I gave it a shot though, but as soon as I saw that there was a basket between two baseball fields I knew that this course was not going to be what it once was....

16 and 18 will most likely be unplayable once baseball season starts. You will be throwing at people watching behind the fence and you have the possibility of throwing disc onto the baseball field.

Course is still putting in signage so I won’t comment on that, but the hole design left a lot to be desired. Two major areas with decent trees to work with were lumped into long throw and hope holes over/into trees and some of the short hole are just sitting in an empty field. Some hole have an extremely low gap like the 310ish ft hole by the water tower. On that hole it seems the best strategy is to throw over everything and bank it off the water tower. Both good and bad shots sometimes don’t feel earned. Lastly, there is a lot of walking between some tees some of which gets close to other holes. The practice basket is in hole 17’s fairway. I wanted to like it more but man, I did not have fun here.

Great course for long drives. Great course to learn for a beginner, but may be a little boring for an intermediate to experienced player. All around great course though to kill some time and have fun.

You walk more between holes than you play on the back 9. 16 and 18 are very worth passing all together. I’d play the front 9 (or 10) twice before ever playing the back 9. Know I am grateful for GAS and all they have done. Love the baskets and know the pads will be great. Just the back 8 (10 is an easy transition) are goofy to navigate.

Definitely an improvement over the previous design but there just isn't much to the property to build a course around. If you have a decent arm you can pretty much play the entire course with a putter and a mid. If you were looking for somewhere to introduce someone to the game it would be a great option.

Course maintenance in progress for the construction of a new course layout. Some baskets are missing on the back 9

Great course. Very open. Good for beginners but can be too simple for experienced players

Definitely a harder layout than before. The different shot shaping required makes the course unique to the area. Would love to see some fairways cut in on the par 4 for the landing zone. Also the gaps to be expanded a bit on some of the par 3s. However i think this course will be very good after further adjustments are made. Very challenging when windy. Looking forward to the development of the layout!

New course layout is nice. The back 9 is a bit confusing and has a lot of long walks between holes that makes the rounds take at least 30 minutes longer than the older course. Definitely a lot more challenging

Good to practice distance driving. Some pars should probably be lower but the wind does get pretty gnarly.

Great beginner course. Nothing too challenging but a great course to test new techniques and new discs.

I played as tee pads were set so in a month itll be better. The main complaints i have that will be fixed are a lack of tee pads and signage, it was hard to find some holes without udisc. Hopefully new signs will make it simple. As for the new design, i think its an improvement. The front 9 are mostly short holes and the back 9 is a good mix. They definetly incorporated more hazards like trees and such which make it a way more interesting course now, previously it was very open but now feels more on par with modern courses. It is still friendly to beginners as well. There are some holes, such as 12 and 16, that i feel couldve made more use of the space. 12 couldve been longer and in fact wouldve been betted imo if the old tee placement remained. 16 was a completely wide opne shot, and while i dont really have a specific suggestion on how to improve it, im just not a fan of wide open shots. Great hole to open up at tho but anyone can do that in a random feild. Overall 4/5 stars because i know it will improve, and will probably still have oppurtunities for improvement in the future.

Wind is brutal. Upkeep is good. Nice baskets. Cement tees were good.
