I want to like this course since it’s the only public course in the area, but it has some major drawbacks that seriously limit how it can be played. It feels like an obstacle course rather than a standard disc golf course. You’re constantly having to avoid cars, pedestrians, bleachers, fences, dog parks, etc. OB on some holes is fenced private property, so if you’re over, then consider that disc gone forever. I really wish they’d spend a little time and money reworking this course. It could be a great asset to the Cashiers area.
@wkcrow
Tees are short but solid. Shot design is very quirky. Makes for tricky shots. Overall, ok.
@christian15
Really great course for someone learning and good to get a round in just for fun, a lot of shot shaping and with plenty of variety to make your own shots if you desire a longer layout
@tcsharp
Love the technicality, could use some tee area lengthening for run ups.
@mommamia
Hole 1 is very close to the road and imagine I will hit more cars than birdies. Liked the variety of holes but believed going over the lake instead of next to it would have opened up the last 3 holes.
@mmmturcotte
Nice course, difficult to find the first hole but once we found that it was easy to tell where to go. Lost a disc on the roof of the rec center but that was probably user error. Well maintained, bathrooms available.
@mattmarkham
Although the layout is decent, it’s also dangerous. You’re constantly throwing over walking paths and pedestrians.
@iannorris
Super simple easy course but still lots of fun, beautiful nature all around. Be cautious of wind and the pond in some areas!
@discgolfcraig
Course overlaps with so many other park activities. There isn’t a single hole where other park amenities don’t potentially interfere. Otherwise, a recent course.
@brysonl
Short tee boxes and tight layout. Well up kept but heavy foot traffic from walkers. Nice short course, only one long hole
@tominabox
Course is in great shape but the layout makes it dangerous for pedestrians and cars.
@conradfarms
Fun, be mindful of people.
@jaybowser
Good challenge for a park course. Played it 10 times over the course of a week and enjoyed ourselves a lot! However, almost every hole deals with big design issues - parking lots, walking paths everywhere, baseball fields, and even a playground to throw over. As long as the park is empty, it’s a fun track.
@burtjr
This is a really nice course and well designed, especially for the space they had to do it. Makes for a good beginner course but also really fun to shred as a local pro. Just make sure you watch out for cars and people
@k8r1987
Fun small course! Just watch for cars on the first hole and try not to over throw the water holes.
@toddlion
Dangerous layout. Cannot recommend. Many throws are over walking paths, some are blind to the thrower. Hole 3 throws over a swingset. Holes 1 and 7 throw around picnic areas. Hole 6 is the only hole that does not have direct interference with other park amenities.
@heinz00
Clearly an after thought that checked a box for somebody. Throwing along side traffic, parking lots, etc and goofy shots required
