Exceptionally fun course. Lots of up and down. It really helps to sharpen up your short game. Looking forward to playing it many times over the next four years.
@sawyerspearman
Incredible improvement from before. I was really excited to have a course on campus when i came to wcu and it’s finally playable after > a year. Lots of fun and pretty tough!
@clt1jab
Very short, very tight course. Good place to work on your precision approach game. Like others have said, it's a good hike: plenty of elevation. Thanks to the volunteers who are making it better. If I were a student here, I'd definitely kill some time between classes here. It's not a great course, but they're doing well with the space they have. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth your time.
@handop
It's well kept and a good hike. However, not the best for beginners, and you need to know in advance that it is going to be a hike.
@beaucoan
Good course, wooded holes are very challenging. Lots of brush and trees to navigate, some holes have very narrow fareways….

The course was significantly redesigned a few months ago. Short, fun, and technical holes abound. Course is being maintained and improved by local volunteers. If you’re on campus, come out and have fun with the students, faculty, and staff of WCU.

New 18 hole layout has a much better flow and uses available area. Tee pads are a mix right now, but locals are working to hard to improve them. Course is a hike, but very playable and a mix of shots.

Need solid tee boxes and signage. Also 14 is ridiculous and needs some trees removed to make more fair. Now that warmer weather is upon us, someone needs to clear the poison Ivey out. It is almost unplayable if you are allergic to it.
