Lots of potential. Needs some work but could really be something great. Not a long course but it really challenges your accuracy.

Hey guys, I’m the new manager here at Hugh White. Yes the course is in desperate need of attention. I am working on securing some new baskets and yes we can move some if needed. Honestly I need you guys help though. I’m not a disc golf guy. I’ve played a few times and enjoyed it. But I’d like to make this course a great one and would like to add another. You can contact the park the phone number is 662)226-4934. My name is Louis. Any ideas or tips would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I believe this course has some potential. It just needs attention (1st to get it playable and then continue to maintain it). Move the “flood-level” holes to higher ground. There’s plenty of hardwooded land with fairly clear understory to move things around. A volunteer group could work wonders here.
@eliwebb21
Minimal tee signage and the holes are difficult to find. Lots of overgrown and fallen trees and not cleaned up fairways. Lots of elevation changes and difficult to manage.

absolutely do not waste your time. This course is another example by the Mississippi state parks to show what not to do with a disc golf course. One of the worst maintained parks in the system. Just plain BAD.
@spoon36
played the course today with a great friend and his three beautiful girls. The course has two holes under water at the moment, but we plan to try and get this course back on track. I’ve talked to the lake personnel and have a meeting planned to get permission to whip it back in shape. Today my friend worked hard on mapping what he could. His idea to me to refurbish the course so he gets all the credit. We will have to do it one hole at a time, but any helpers are welcome. Just let us know.
@romank
Holes 4, 5 and 6 were flooded. Some Tees and Baskets are damaged.
