I walked up to the long tee anticipating a battle, a battle against the course itself. It was evident that this day wasn’t going to be easy, and that I would have to fight to protect my ego. From hole 1, I experienced the unforgiving difficulty of Challenger. We exchanged punches, and blow-after-blow I was beat down. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I could see the end of the tunnel. A glimmer of hope rushed through my mind. I could make it. Using all the remaining energy and will-power I had left in my tank, I limped across the finish line. I had done it. I conquered Challenger. Then, just as I thought I had escaped from its hands, I realized I was only on hole 6. 5 stars.

@roadto501
Long and lean. Give it time. Much effort going into it. Note to self: come back when you've learned to throw a disc.

@glenadyll
This is an absolutely awesome new Houston area course. With some more breaking in it will clearly be the top course in the greater Houston area. Reminds me much more of the Austin area course we all know and love (Roy G, Circ C, Sprink, Benbrook, etc.).

@kserres
Beautiful but challenging course. They did a great job building this course and making it into something special. Highly recommend

@bgibby24
Would like to see more benches around the tee pads and a few more trash cans. Overall awesome course!

@blakedg
If you are struggling with any part of your game, this course is sure to help. Litterly any shot shape you wanna throw is there. Weather on the a or b position, short or long tee, lots to love. Short to short just harder then Briscoe, long to long, more like a pro tour course. Highly highly recommend

@joerun
Phenomenal. Absolute unit of a course. Glad I saved it for my 200th course.

@downhilldrive
Awesome and somewhat technical, challenging and lengthy course— looks similar to a couple other excellent champion style courses in Texas as said in other people’s reviews, definitely recommend if you want a real “challenger” to see how good you are haha!

@benjaminallen
Great new course in South Houston! We needed a difficult course and this delivers.

@discgolfninja
Great course! Needs a little more signage in between holes. If you don’t have UDisc you might have some trouble finding the next tee at some holes. Nice shot variety, with a mix of shot shapes needed. Players without big shot distance of the tee might struggle on a couple holes to make par. From the short tees a good mix of par 3, 4, and a par 5 in the back half. This course has great potential to be one of the best in the area.

@texashiroms
Differently one of the best courses in the Houston area. Play the shorts fun but challenging

@herrera71681
Very advanced course, prepare to be humbled! Even playing the short tees I would rate this as a hard intermediate course. If you play the longs prepare to finish well above par unless you’re 950 rated or higher. The roughs are very punishing so stay in the fairways and wear long sleeves and pants if possible. Played the day after the rain and it wasn’t really muddy or hard to find good footing so definitely a plus. Just need to watch for large mulch and branch debris to ensure you don’t roll an ankle. Semi cart friendly and you’ll need to use U-disc in order to find your way around the course for the first time. Actual bathrooms available and benches all over the park but not a lot of places to sit along the course. All and all considered I would recommend!

@mastamixinmatt
Pack a lunch! This is a long course with all the shots you want to throw. It’s nicely done and in my opinion the best course in the Houston area. It definitely needs more signage. Follow the UDisc map and you’ll be fine. I’ll definitely be back.

@jordanmcmoon
Needs clean up

@ken1645
Fun times playing the black shorts to orange baskets. Tough course.
@aiden2105
Best course in Houston.

@rlemire72
Some really good lines in the woods. Coming from New England I appreciate tight fairways in the woods. One major critique is the flow and walks. I would actually reverse some holes to create a better balance and flow to mediocre holes. H5 should go to H8 . H15 to H7 and reverse H6 but modify the hole to work so the walk to H17 is seamless as you finish. It would create a better overall finish.

@joneprice
Now in my top 5 Texas courses! Looking forward to all it will be! Fun longs!

@timothyandjones
Lots of walking between baskets, I was moving pretty quick and it took over an hour and a half. A few baskets and tee boxes would be tough to find without this app.

@codybowman
Course still needs a lot of work and wayfinding. The course presents a 10ft gap with a 15ft ceiling on just about every hole which combined with the sticky bushes off the fairway makes it an unfun course to play
