This course is not for the faint of heart. It is a beautiful walk around Choctaw Lake. The government rallied for there to be a disc golf course put in and proceeded to not follow through with their promise to help with upkeep and it shows.

They've done some mowing and hogging. Still a major hike and good challenges. Worth the walk.

Really challenging course that is on the upswing. Once tee pads are in and some fairways get a little love, this will be a destination course not just for the disc golf but also for the beautiful scenery.

I loved the scenery!!! The walk was not too bad. Great shot variety. Signage and tee pads with a few changes here and there and this will be a fan favorite. Another great state park course worth the drive.

Course is actively being cleaned up and put back to use. Still has some work to be done on the tee pads, trimming up limbs in fairways, and some new signs as holes are changing. So much potential. Looking forward to seeing where the course is in a few months.

Trying out this course as it's currently being revamped. Love the layout and the walk around the lake is absolutely beautiful. It is a trek to get around the whole course, but definitely worth it to play through. Excited to see how this course develops with the new changes!

Course is back in playable condition! Still needs some TLC but definitely starting to look good. Some new tee signs and some teepads and this course will be an awesome course to play. Stunning views with lots of fun shots. This course definitely has 5 star capability!

Course has the potential to be five stars. It’s been years since it has been maintained but is currently being worked on. Fairways have been bushhogged recently. New signage and teepads are coming. This could be a real gem.

Pretty much unplayable due to upkeep. What was apparently decent paths to the holes, tees etc have overgrown. Also some crazy hole placement can cause a decent shot to end up in the water. We played a few holes but just didn’t feel like bushwhacking all afternoon. We’re camping here (nice campground) so I may find a few holes to practice on but that’s about it.

Just trim the fairways and it would be an amazing course also where each tee marker is

Very difficult with throws over water. Not for beginners.

I bumped it to 4 stars just because it’s so damn beautiful to play a course that hugs a serene lake like this the whole way. I couldn’t bring myself to throw a long-distance drive over two sections of water on hole 2. I can’t imagine how many lost discs are in there - actually, prob not many, judging by the unpopularity of the course. Wearing long pants is a MUST if you want to play about 6-8 of the woods holes where there are barely trodden fairways that’s mostly bush-whacking. Be adventurous!
