@teddyt
Fantastic course. Tight in the trees. Open areas are also not wide. Excellent.
@chrisaubrey
Really long course with lots of shot shape variety along the Cahaba River. Really pretty. Wear your hiking shoes NOT your cross trainers for this one. Traversing from hole to hole can be challenging if you have bad knees and or ankles. Lots of large rocks on the "paths".
@j47phelps
Amazing, really fun, stopped by on the way to the beach and a super fun course to play.
@russelldiscgolf
Great course nice variety open & woods
@wilsmith
Absolutely beautiful course thru the trees and the park. One of the best near Birmingham for sure.
@jvarner
Fun mixture of park style open holes with a few trees in the fairway and a few challenging wooded holes at the start and end.
@lucasthegreat
Really beautiful, the best that park golf has to offer! New baskets would be great but still a really great course as is.
@jdshell
Long technical but fun course. After playing hole 2 I was thinking it was going to be tight and wooded but it opens up after hole 3 up until hole 17. Need to hit lines to score well, but scambling is possible without to much damage to the scorecard. Leave the cart in the truck and you'll have a better round. Doable with a cart, but a bag is the way to go on this one. Course is a little hard to navigate without udisc because multiple tees and baskets are visible. Benches and multiple basket locations on each hole were nice.
@choppachang
Bring your rangefinder. The setup I was supposed to be playing was a bit off.
@icesk8er333
Basket labels or flags would be helpful. Fun course watch out for par 4 heavy wooded shots
@dphill
4.1. Creative course. Beautiful.
@greyton32
Would be a 5 star if holes 17 & 18 didn’t exist. Shot a great round even with them, but they aren’t enjoyable because they aren’t well kept at all
@markfed7
Moderately wooded park golf (except for 3 tight woods holes). Could use some next tee signs for the earlier holes as its easy to accidently skip or play the wrong hole for your first couple rounds. Pindicators would be useful as well for the wooded holes.If the park is busy you will be waiting a lot as many baskets are close to walking paths. Makes good use of available elevation and park hazards to make for some thoughtful tee shots.
@sfaast
I really like this course. It’s very challenging, but fair. I’m my opinion this course has the best variety in the area and rewards good all around play. Well kept park in a nice area.
@durant
I thought this place was called Fire Ant Hills... didn't recognize the name. It's got a lot of fire ants, but the course was pretty fun,I like it better than clay.
@brandosolo
A very well kept public park. Lots of people walking so for some holes we have to wait to throw. The layout is a bit confusing as to which way the next teepad should be on a lot of the holes. #8 you tee off from the sidewalk. The holes on the hillside are tight lines and tunnel shots.
@lymbic
Only real issue is about 1/3rd of the course is laid out near the main pedestrian walkway in the park. So you have to wait a lot between throws
@jared14
Great course and great people! One of my favorite courses! Needs a league out here
@nharris820
Not well marked. Fun course though once you figure out where to go from each hole
