Back nine needs mowed.. fun grip it and rip it bomber course (at least for this noodle arm ðĪŠ)
@logangehlhausen
Course would be much better if it was maintained better. Grass was tall and it was apparent that the maintenance crew has no regard for the baskets or tee signs, as a few had been hit or mowed over
@cade99
Good challenging course but it needs maintenance on a few holes.
@ggmyers0351
Course is in desperate need of a good mow. Some teepads need completely uncovered while they all need edged.
@adubkip
Great course, just gotta be careful with the holes along the creek / river
@silentares
Three signs were missing when we got to the Tpad. But was fun aside from that.
@justice6870
Fun course, good and open. The trees on this course are over 200 yrs old, never seen pecans and oaks so big. The big oak on the 18th by basket is the biggest we saw. Need to mow around holes 11-14, flooding left allot of debris and tall grass, but it looks like the city is trying to keep up with it. Signage was decent, mowers have taken out one sign on 13 i think. Overall great course and Lord of shade and along the river is pretty. Great course to bring a dog, wide open areas and we saw very little sticker areas.

New tee pads and new tee signs (September â23). This is a great course with several technical shots and a chance to work on your distance. Bathrooms on site but no water fountains, so be sure to bring your own. Town has several places to eat with gas stations as well. Worth the drive out if you are from Waco!
@ajkessler
1, 4 and 5 unplayable due to basketball clinic, parking and birthday party. Or if anyone is using this are.
@boziphus
Great shot and tee variety! The only 3 things I wasnât real stoked about were the sandy tee pad I couldnât use, long walks between holes 5-6 and 7-8, and the tall greens that prevented much needed ground skips. Overall I loved the experience and definitely worth the 40min drive!
@turleyg41
Great course. Plays very long on the back 9. Basket 13 is MIA. Well done Clifton, Tx. Highly recommend.
@cathey21
Like the new cement pads
@bigheavy
Needs tees and grass was terribly thick.
@rossmans
Decent stickers after hole 6
@mattw96
Some stickers on the other side of the big bridge, otherwise great course. Pretty open fun for bombs.
@papiblanco1993
I hate to give this course this rating but no one has been taking care of this course. The city only mows what you can see from the road and thatâs not often enough either. This has potential to be a much better course. I have given it 4-5 stars in the past.
@nathanalleman
This is an update to my prior review: new pads and signs are a big upgrade, though the choice of Mach V baskets is regrettable for a newer course; hard to see at distance and don't catch well. Course does have solid variety, both in length and challenge. Nice trees and low ceilings make for fun shots on many holes. A few too many long throws across fields on the back 9 undercut otherwise engaging design. Bathrooms not great. Still, definitely worth playing!
