Watch for barbed wire on the ground. Forest Service rules do not allow removal of the wire. It is marked but you still need to be aware.

This course was incredible! Loved the up and down hike, loved the near extreme variation, loved the layout and upkeep. Yes, there is a bunch of glass on a few holes, and it is designed around an old dump, but that never detected from play in my opinion. The signs and paths to the next hole are amazing, but getting over to 14 was tough and would not have happened without the app.

Beautiful course, lots of elevation. Great signs, good tee pads. Medium difficulty, be careful on the fairway because it can treacherous. Loose branches/wood, rocks, elk(?) poop, and full on riprap. They worked hard to put in stairs/paths.

What chad wickers said… great course! There is a lot of broken glass throughout, though. Troubles youths!

A favorite NM course. Great views of White Sands, good elevation changes, technical throws, and distances. Signage and course layout are top-notch. Would definitely recommend.

A good little course. However a little easy and the rock/wood piles are very treacherous and should be marked as OB unplayable.

Played March 9. Great course! Has big patches of snow and wet ground so hiking boots are highly recommended during winter and spring months. Very hilly and many downed trees throughout course. I look forward to playing again!

Nice course! There was quite a lot of snow on the ground so it was definitely challenging walking up and down the hills. Also be careful of the barb wire on the ground.. especially if your doggies are with you lots of broken bottles/glass around some of the holes. Overall not bad!

Beautiful course but beware of disc-eating snow!

Absolutely loved it. Great layout and signs. Maybe I was having a good day, but every hole was very reachable for pars and birdies. Hand rails and walking improvements are very well done and needed. Only negative is the incredible amount of broken glass everywhere!!! When I come back, I’ll bring a rake and bags to help.

Two Texas guys that loved the course, the elevation, wildlife, everything was great. We will be back.
