Main map needs update. Labels on baskets and tees would help. Great course for guerrilla game, but I often was throwing at wrong or multiple baskets.

They should rename this course “Chaos Park VAFB” in my opinion. Came here on TDY and played the main 18 hole course layout with my coworkers. About half of the tee pads weren’t existent, the distances seemed very off from what they were throwing (could’ve been the adjustment from playing at higher elevations), and most of the course was a thick bramble with a super uneven footing most of the time. I had hoped for more, but I suppose we’ll take what we can get. Hopefully the course becomes more defined and clear at some point because it has potential. Many times throughout the course we found ourselves throwing in the direction of 2+ baskets with no indication of where we were going, even with the UDisc map tracking us.

Play the alternate 18 and it was really nice. I got so lost on the main 18. The course still puts up a great fight with all of the trees and shrubs but it's just easier to find the teepads and correct baskets
@steven12491
Overgrown. Fallen trees in fairways. Tees not marked. Moss growing on baskets. GPS not even close to accurate on baskets and tees. I quit at hole 7. Surprised I made it that far.
@sfranco
Overall a good mix of technical and open holes. Needs to have more tees placed on the back 9 holes and some course placards for multiple pins.
@alexpaulson
Not up to date, not well groomed. After hole 13, new construction took out the equipment. Hard to follow.
@fardishki
Super fun course! Must be on base personnel or be sponsored by personnel
@adamarchuleta
Played the "Main" 18 hole layout. Holes 1-13 were recently mowed with concrete tee pads and baskets accurate according to the map. Great variety in tree coverage, distances, and technical layouts. I didn't find tee pads for holes 14-18 but the baskets were accurate on the map. These holes were not manicured. There were many many more baskets and tee pads I saw while walking the course and some old placards accompanying them but no official maps found anywhere.
@rmsteindl
Definitely a fun course, especially for beginners. A little overgrown in some spots but was able to follow it pretty well using a map I found on Google. Some holes have definitely moved since this was setup, but I did my best to update the map to match where the concrete tee boxes and the newer baskets are located. Definitely recommend if you can get access to VSFB!
@bkmel59
Could be a fun course!. Map not accurate. Could not follow after hole 13. Map shows 18 a 1/2 mile from hole 1 parking. I suspect the course has been updated as i seen baskets not identified. Perhaps they moved the last 5 holes so 18!ends near the start. Update map please!
@mattrpopo
Very interesting course, great alt to parks. Obviously it's not super well kept but it offers a fun mix of hole types and interesting challenges. Wind is a factor on base this time of year so the open shots can be deceptively tough. Bring your hiking shoes as you will be doing a some romping through tall grass and gopher holes even through some of the fairways. Did not encounter any snakes though, but they're in the area. Definitely had a lot of fun and will be making regular returns here!
@joeknapp
This course is actually really nice! Good mix of tunnels and open shots, not too difficult. Though during the middle nine holes (14-16, 18,19 and a couple others)don’t have tee pads so you have to just guess where to throw from. Course has multiple baskets per hole though, I wouldn’t say long vs short positions just different routes.
@allenknapp
This course is peaceful and not at all crowded. The first 9 baskets and the last 9 have concrete T-pads. Most of the middle 9 have no T-pads. Several of the holes have more than one basket which is a little confusing but after some familiarity with the course they could add some variety.
@tadmhughes
Very overgrown in many areas. Throwing platforms do not exist for several holes (arbitrary throwing positions are used instead). Still, it’s a fun course with varying terrain. Some holes have a lot of obstacles and foliage. Others are wide open.
