Tee signs are inaccurate distance wise. Nice course though but wish they would bring the old layouts back.

The 3rd course on the property. At time of play, better maintained than the blue course, but still feels like it could use some more attention. Older courses that do not get the brush cut back in the sides of fairways will slowly over time begin to eat itself up. This one is getting closer to that fate. It plays decently, has some fair lines, some ludicrous lines, and some challenging lines, but it asks you to play through an area that has picnic table tables in the first 7 holes and this can feature… drumroll… people having picnics. I was unable to play several holes yesterday, so I scrapped my effort and came back on a Monday… and then I couldn’t play a hole because there were a large group of people having a picnic on hole 6, they did not speak English, and they did not understand what the sport was. Impossible to rate this course highly if it is through a picnic park. I have no solutions for this issue.

Incredible course with stunning views. Some of the holes are picturesque, you never want to leave.

DO NOT play the red course on a weekend or on a Spanish holiday,ls, there will be parties and picnics in the middle of 4 fairways that keep you from playing the holes. I would love to play the entire course someday but every time I show up there are people in the middle of fairways. I recommend playing blues, or purples. But even purples have people on the fairways sometimes.

Wet and the back holes have small fairways for over 300 foot holes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5 star, is that it’s a mixed use park. Just wrapped up Red after playing Blue + Purple + Red in one day. But the Red course is absolutely stunning. Depending on what you’re looking for, it might be the crown jewel at Codorus. The Red layout feels like Purple’s meaner, more technical older brother. It’s got a world-class feel with breathtaking views, but the golf is not messing around. It’s wide open in spots, but somehow still incredibly technical. You’re shaping shots, landing with intent, and managing risk. It’s super fun because you get chances to throw big, but you can’t just mindlessly bomb. Codorus will remind you who’s boss. The lake and parking lots come into play on the front half. It’s manageable, but have fun on #7. It’s “that” peninsula hole that adds a real “don’t get cute” element off the tee. Things tighten up quick in the wooded back 9. There can be some brutal glances off the line. No joke. This is classic Codorus: hit your line or else. Miss the gap and you’re scrambling, pitching out, and bleeding strokes. Get your birdies while you can, because the bogeys show up unexpectedly, and they’re the painful kind. This course will happily hand you a “that felt like a good shot” bogey if you’re not disciplined.

Amazing scenery, but probably my least favorite of the 3 courses at Codorus State Park, which I think speaks more to how fun the other two are.

Great course. Great views along the lake for some holes. I like the wooded holes too. Great signage and baskets. I really like that there are 3 courses plus a mini course here.

Nice technical layout. Needs some serious consistent maintenance though. Lots of dead trees and hanging branches. Also some benches would be nice.

Great course! First 8 holes are more of an open type feel then 9-18 are fairly wooded shots!
