Fairways shouldn't have any cactus or thorn bushes. Could use a harder mow.

@megagolfer
Challenging long course with lots of tall grass, trees, and thorns. Benches at each tee pad is nice, but it can get hot out there.

@rshields00
Awesome course with a lot of shot shaping variety. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the vicinity. The Front 9 is more open with elevation changes and heavy wind/OB on a lot of holes that makes you nervous off the tee. The back 9 seemed to be more wooded and technical. Great layout with some shorter tight par 3s and some longer/bomber type par 4s and 5s. If you can’t throw 320+ accurately you’re going to struggle. It was my first time playing and barely had to look at UDisc to find the next hole and the tee pads are very grippy. I’m sure the $20 fee to play (per car) will dissuade some people.

@brianphillips
There is a nice variety of holes here, but is it worth 20.oo 🤔 i don't think so.

@okkevin
Professional level course. Long long long. But fair. Overall great course! But I’m not quite sure it’s worth the $20 unless you spend on planning all day here to enjoy the rest of the park.
@tmcmillin
Texas does not need anymore par 4 or par 5 holes! I repeat, Texas does not need any more par 4 or par 5 holes! This is not what the sport needs but for some reason every course feels the need to make this mistake!

@david0663
Outstanding couse. Worth the two hour drive. The rough is rough but I have seen lots worse. The mowed fairways are great and if your are accurate you will have no problem. Holes are long for us old guys but still fun. Good elevation changes on some holes. Front 9 can be hot. Back 9 is more shaded and technical. I will be back. Worth the 2 hour drive from San Antonio. Oh, and it has a great lake with swimming area to cool off after.

@cuzcoo
Fun course good mix of open and low ceiling wooded shots
@sigleme
The course design is very good. The rough is monstrous. Wear pants and bring a buddy or two.

@rwv1964
Awesome course! Front nine is mostly more open, back mostly more technical. Well maintained fairways, beware the rough. Kudos to Texas Parks for putting this course in!

@tito41826
Great new course, just need the grass cut

@sethculver
Love this course. Technical wooded low ceiling throws mixed with long par 5s. One of the best courses in south Texas

@claytonmitte
I find this course is cart friendly, and a great addition to the courses in the area!
@trouble93
Nice course. May want to wear pants if you plan on playing in the rough.

@gbiled10
Amazing course. Clean up some of the rough and it’ll be even better.
