It's open! Uneven, rubber tee pads. Intense elevation, anything that rolls is long gone. Fun, challenging 9er.
@tjsmithy
Course design was decent. Lots of steep hiking. Pads are decent rubber mats. They just put new baskets in, but not a huge fan of the chain design. Had several center chain putts go straight through. Otherwise perfectly fine and fun course!
@jason303
I wouldn’t go out of my way for this course but I’ve also played worse by far. And for those wondering about seasons, the resort said they put baskets in around July 4th each year and take them out around Labor Day, weather dependent on both ends
@reesepounders30
There are no baskets or tee pads remaining. This course should be marked as closed indefinitely.
@tenner
Obviously beautiful. Basically plays straight uphill and straight downhill.
@drfrisb
This is an adventure; just like finding free parking. Enjoy this course and this round. Definitely worth checking out if you're really into disc golf.
@mattmj88
The only thing that is worth playing about this course are the great views. The first six holes are directly straight up a steep ski slope with no variation in any of the shots or obstacles. The last three are straight back down and also are pretty bland and don’t have any challenge other than the drop in elevation. There’s a lot of potential here if the course design had any thought, put into it because it is such a beautiful area, but it seems like they just drew a line up one slope and down the other, and called it good. I don’t think I would play this course and as I am staying in copper for something else and don’t have time to drive over to the courses in Frisco or Dylan because they are by far better courses and absolutely worth the drive and time.
@isaiahisz
Not entirely awful. Lots of hiking and uphill shots. Could have added 9 more holes in between almost every hole. Would not go out of my way to play again.
@ionnoyou
Could be such an awesome course with the views and terrain. Design and up keep make it a little mid
@natelemk14
Scenery is wonderful. Would recommend throwing a putter on 7-9 because of steep downhills into strong winds (many places to lose discs). Only complaint is that there is no basket on 9.
@jeffb2020
The layout isn’t great with lots of unnecessary walking, but the baskets are nice and the scenery is beautiful. Could easily be an 18 that starts and finishes in the same place.
@brockmiles23
Steep Climb to start and long holes , no basket on 9 due to snow. Great views and good workout
@johnspaghetti
Worst course in Summit County by far. Would be cool to have a course in the West Village area. More scenic, less steep, out of the way of mtb trails, trees are less dense. Copper could even do a shuttle up the road to Lumberjack lift and tee off of the deck at Koko’s. All downhill throwing is a course I’d like to play.
@theinfamousdoom
First time playing here. Very easy to overthrow on a few tees, and wind up in thick wetlands. Could be designed better for sure!
@dereklowrey
It’s not joke. The hike is extreme but the views are killer and I enjoyed it a lot.
@colomojo
First year back, tough hike uphill to 7. Tee boxes are stable course could be set up better to make more of a gradual climb and more interesting
@lanesikes
Terrible layout. Terrible baskets
@howesriggs
Not worth it. Copper needs to bring back the original course layout.
