SURPRISINGLY TRICKY | Course plays beside and behind church on field divided by stand of tall trees, lapping around drainage area with retaining pond (dry in summer) and featuring tricky shots through a tight gap and around parking areas.
@peskycashew
Aside from a few overgrown basket areas, a really nice course for a short 9
@brendonian
Beautiful design
@atheriault
Upkeep terrible or might be fun
@aqp240
This course has great potential. It just needs some maintenance and a couple of improvements. Most of the course is pretty overgrown but walkable if you’re wearing pants or don’t mind getting crap in your shoe. The fairway on hole 6 is so bad it’s better to just walk around. Some updated signs and more obvious teepads plus the course maintenance would easily make this a 4-4.5 star fun little 9 hole course.
@lordbailey23
I don’t think the grass has been cut in the year 2023… the signs are up, kind of. They are pieces of wood on a stake. No notes or numbers. Overall a nice quick 9 hole. Great for practice Par 3.
@dasaustin
Played for the first time and it’s rad! Heard from a local that the tee signs are ordered so that’ll be helpful. Hole 6’s tee pad is my favorite and I can’t wait to see how the course evolves!
@parkerhall
Thank you Brandon Bailey, and thank you Cornerstone! God is good.
@ddcorkill
A little primitive, but the effort is definitely there! Great brand new baskets, simple and fun layout, MAP ON UDISC!!!! Don’t miss this diamond in the rough for a quick round
@lageee
Grass was recently cut. Fun course with some challenging shots.
@brokenrail
Grass needs cut. Fun little course though otherwise.
@nicetyce
Surprisingly good course. Nice Veteran baskets, fun layout. Just wish there were teepads and better hole markers.
@jraldy
Fun little course. Could be easy on calm days. If you stay in the fairway you're good but if not good luck finding it. There's no concrete tee pads but there are poles with signs and flags. I talked to the designer today before the round a he gave me tips and days they may have to move a hole if they sell the property next door. Nice guy.
@fzapien
Great 9 hole. Thanks Brandon for the layout breakdown
@goatdisc25
Great course, and so nice to have one in the south part of Mesquite. Perfect for a quick round after work.
@discman711
Variety of shot types and distances are the pros. The con is that tee pads are rough. Definitely nice for a quick round.
@timjgarc
Great use of land. Love that it forces shot shapes with the landscape. Windy days make birdies much harder to get, and make you abandon the obvious shot. Once tee signs are more permanently structured it's gonna be awesome. Might consider making mando signs on 7 and 8 to avoid wide hyzers over alley and parking lot, and give more challenge.
