"Good blend of open and wooded holes. Some crusher holes and super technical holes. Uses elevation. Critique would be some wooded holes felt a little more lucky breaks if you didn’t hit a tree. If hole is lined with trees as fairway then you don’t need trees in fairway. Reward skill not luck. Also parking was long was from hole #1."

"I played 2 days before the tournament and it was in great condition. I am 64 and have only played for a little over 1 year. I knew this course is a beast because I came out earlier in the year and helped Grant. I had low expectations of killing it so I gave myself an 18 handicap and needed more. I shot 24 over par and felt good about myself since it was the first time to ever play the whole 18. I recently played Idlewild and CL is comparable. This course is only going to get better with age."

"Grant and his family were great hosts this weekend for our little getaway. He's got a fantastic 18 hole track featuring very tight wooded holes, water hazards/OBs, and wide open bombers. There's a good mix of 300+ft par 3's, 4's, and 5's. Many holes require a top level of play. THIS COURSE WILL CHALLENGE YOU UNLIKE ANY COURSE YOUVE PLAYED BEFORE. Distance will only get you so far on this track. Skilled placement shots are a must. Def. A 5 star gem. The work that went into this course is Insane! "

"Incredible course, easy to find. Bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, and water. Great mix of elevation, alleys in the woods, and open bombers. The course is long and there is a lot of up and down steep hill. The owner and course designer are really cool and they had more water for us halfway through. "
