Awesome track they’ve made on a somewhat tight space. Lots of variety and the OB/Hazard/Mandos make the score separating great!
@jeraug
Some fun holes but not many. Crowded and gimmicky. It’s like they told people to go home and bring back your junk and we will use it for obstacles. Ridiculous triangles made from fence posts makes the course look so bad. Used to be sand bunkers but now they are grown in with weeds so they look terrible. If busy keep you head up because discs are flying everywhere.
@saltyteej
Pretty fun course. Good hole designs. Not to much congestion in the available space. Better course notes would help for new players.

Pink and green wtaf is that, pinks are short but also not. It was like playing mini golf at Scandia, but the disc golf version.

Not interested in playing again

First time to play here. I’ll be back to try the summer layouts. Edit: played summer layout from pink for first time. Wasn’t aware of some of the marked areas ahead of time so next time should be better.
@scottfolkert
Heavy use of hazard areas which is sorta unique to a casual course. Mostly flat, mostly open, little shot shaping required, just good placement needed to stay out of hazard.
@fokman
Great space with a poor design
@brycep
I really enjoy this one, the OB ropes are well thought out to reward good shots and punish bad shots, which adds a good challenge but not unreasonably so. Lots of fun lines with very few stock hyzer shots, I recommend! Better tee areas would be a great future upgrade.
@ironwolf
Haven’t played this course in 3 years. I personally loved this course and what it has to offer. Some tight lines but really builds your game for tournaments and placing your shots.
@pattydisc14
Layout has little variety. Oddly placed obstacles. Weird fake grass tee pads on some of the holes are uneven and lumpy.
@gkrice
New layout: the flow of the course is improved, i like the 18 hole layout with some longer holes where there used to be two holes. The unnecessary hazard areas where there are no hazards still remain. Also still included are the disc destroyer holes, simply too much concrete and asphalt in play. Also, barriers on 3&4 make the course less accessable for those on wheels.
@dradiscgolf79
I feel like the flow could be better with less OB and feel more natural of a course. In my opinion it's gimmicky with so much OB.
@thochhalter
Best layout so far! Very sensible hazard placement, decent shot shapes, finally some course challenge that pushes skill levels. Thank you to the organizers!
@sawyer89
I'm happy for the challenge. Seems unnecessarily difficult at some points, and I can throw 450'. My typical round at Baker is under -3. 1st round here was +20, 2nd round +9. I'm excited to practice the elevated baskets more, not sure if having the elevated baskets surrounded by hazards or hills should be as common, do you want to see layups on 80% of the holes? Great job building the course, it's a completely unique experience in Calgary. Lovely baskets. The hazards do make it great too.
