Many hidden baskets make finding holes difficult, tee signs not much help, hole location indicators sometimes inaccurate or illegible. Way too much poison oak - it’s no longer “ambiance”. Somewhat overgrown. Slightly errant shots should not result in a bad rash or hour-long disc search. Still this course is iconic and Top of the World tee is satisfying. Could be a 5 with some attention.

This would be a absolute top tier course if not for the absurd amount of poison oak, and some minor issues with adjacent/overlapping fairways. Super fun and challenging lines and beautiful location. The top of the world shot lives up to expectations, so much fun

A gorgeous course! Truly a privilege to play such a historic place. This course is challenging and has a lot of elevation. If you shank a tee shot on certain holes, your disc may be down a ravine never to be seen again. Try and keep it in play. Honestly not a beginner friendly course, you should have a good amount of disc control if you want to play here and not be looking for your disc constantly.

The one of the most technical courses I have played. Challenging terrain with great views, and a disc shop at the parking lot. Thanks to the kindness of local player Greg, who not only showed me around the course , but also used his slingshot and magic marble to knock my disc off the top branches of a very tall tree. This course and friendly golfing community will get me looking to make the trip from Rochester N. Y. More often.

4 hour round on a moderately busy day with nearly half that time spent searching for discs. Luckily I was able to find all of them. Really fun course with good variety of technical shots. A few elite level par 3’s that I bet even pros struggle with. Lot of blind shots and very thick OB brush. Highly advise having a spotter for these holes. Was planning on playing a second round during my visit for the weekend but honestly I’m pretty exhausted after the first round. Will definitely play again next time I visit tho
