@mikencr
Solid course, but a few too many poke and hope holes for my taste.
@warpeace
Technical not very fun course, won't be playing here again.
@mjando
Deer Lick has come a long way, definitely room for improvement but it's a solid course with a good mix of challenges.
@eldiscerino
Wayfinding after holes 1,7,11,14 is not possible without referencing map. 16s landing zone is an absolute crapshoot—even if laying up the drive, basket is surrounded by water on 3 sides. Sprawling course, spanning entire perimeter of park. Equal distance wasted walking between holes as necessitated by play. Only a couple par 4s. Double bag water bottles, you’re in for a hike. The third time you play it, there’s charm found earning all the numerous but guarded birdies.
@acdg1998
I can def see how this course can get annoying in the summer with all the thorns and brush, but as far as the winter goes it’s amazing. Found all my discs! Great course with a good mix of open and wooded holes. Easy to find your way around.
@cornbreadz
This course is one bush-hog and a chainsaw away from being really nice. The brush is too thick to even attempt to recover discs if you have a barely errant drive on some holes. And on other holes, there simply aren't any paths to approach the basket with skill, you have to hope you happen to make it through a wall of trees.
@daybreak
Brush is thick, and there aren’t very many clean lines to holes. A course that feels like a lot of luck is involved.
@zachdwillson
Had a blast, was mostly in the shade which was nice. Really good balance of short and long holes.
@plantdaddy
Lines could be cleaner but it’s a fun, dynamic course. Needs to be kept up more. Lots of brush and small low limbs. Recently there’s been a noticeable decline in course upkeep. Would love to see the course get the same kind of love as all the other amenities at this otherwise wonderful park.

@elizerdbeth
Lots of recent trimming has greatly improved the playability of this course!
@caseyp95
Without the map on the app I would not.have found a few holes.
@fort20
Needs some course maintenance on 6,9&16
@jfinbar
Course has gotten some love and plays alot nicer. Its almost there.
@austinsnipes
Fun holes, some can be tough to par even with a great drive. Little overgrown in some areas, in other areas very overgrown. Overall fun course but with a couple holes re-designed and cut back it would be a 4 star course.
@armyrugby
Spring game they moved hole 2 and added a new 11. Was green and a great day.
@blockay
Nice course that’s not busy besides some dog walkers. Front 9 is heavy backhand (right hand thrower). It over a nice variety but lacking a few big throw opportunities. Most of the course is technical but very enjoyable. Good conditions today after a recent storm.
@jacester
Certainly potential but needs to be adopted by local players. Some rough rough even in the winter (briars) and some throws where you need to watch for people and cars. And hole 5 is currently a short hole left and in the woods.
@wood3ntuna
It’s overgrown in a lot of places but still a fun course
@pointsi
Challenging technical course with a lot of different looks and hole styles. A couple of holes (somewhere around 5-8) are risky to play because the grass and small trees are so tall and dense. Fun overall, despite being very rough around the edges.
