"Great course overall. Easy directions on tees and signs throughout. “A” are longer tee boxes, “B” or Red are shorter. Woods and creeks but not really deep waters. Great for all leveled players. "

"Maintained well. With fine touches this course would be one of the best in Ohio to play. A lot of work has went into it. Lots of creek in play. Would be cool with marked OB. Bridges anywhere they are needed. The holes are not all of the same kind of shot which is nice. I don’t take into account mosquitos in ratings because I understand it’s not a course problem so much but the bugs are bad bad. The warm up basket with smaller chain catch is cool and helps with accuracy on the course. "

"If you are looking for a challenge, this is it. Holmes County has a hidden gem here at Deer Run. There are a mixture of wooded fairways, some tight ones and some that are more open. Hit the gaps you and will be rewarded. Miss them and you will pay. The concrete tees are great, and each hole is a unique challenge. Yes, it is a 9 hole course, but playing the long and short tee boxes adds up to a really great 18 holes. "
