I wish I had this course in my backyard. Fun park style course with lots of lines to choose from. The OB comes into play more so in the second half. Makes for competitive and challenging lines. OB and signage is well marked. Overall great course.
@tylersnipes
Cool course but definitely not a 4.3 course. Etowah and Gatewood are wayyyyy better and they are 4.5 (which seems right to me). For the type and amount of land at Deerfield it’s nice and designed well.
@mattmarkham
Mostly open holes while bringing a shallow lake into play. Hole 14 is not 600+ ft.
@strebs
Flat park style between the pines. Great warmup area
@elijahmcasey
Walked out to play the course for the first time today. Ended up jumping in on a league card with Sam. It was a great course and awesome to play with the man that designed it. Flat but under some mature trees. There is O.B. in play on several holes but still really fun course for all skill levels.
@pointsi
Flat, with evenly distributed large trees to navigate, and a few very technical left to right tee shots at 15/16. Fun quick play, not much chance of losing a disc here either! Lots of shade, seems like it can get very wet but wasn’t much today despite some rain even. Large open field adjacent for long shot practice as well as practice basket with C1 clearly marked. 14 is mislabeled on UDisc as 606 feet when it’s more like 320 and should be a par 3.
@trainhopper
What a refreshing course! Has a ton of little bits of character, a ton of shade and a ton of fun! Not to much danger while it’s dry, but it lets you really rip while focusing on gettable lines!
@troyritter
Fantastic course! Challenging enough for an intermediate level player. Requires varied lines, distances are reasonable. Tee pads easy to find. Beautiful, mature trees.
@br0die
Fun flat semi-wooded course. Tougher towards end of course I felt with most of the front nine being similar holes (straight sorta tunnel 200-300ft shots). Great practice area in front with large open flat field.
@travis20hensley
One of the best course around. Shots for all skill levels.
@djdirtydev
Very flat, shaded, and wooded course. Has 20 holes. Played it twice since it was such a good time!
@teddybearon
A lot of artificial OB on most of the course.
@coreynickles
Fun track. Lots of variation within lines on the holes. Good use of space. Just watch out for big water.
@zharry1
Fantastic course for all skill levels! Tons of shot shaping required through old growth trees and some large pines. Very cart friendly, almost zero elevation change because it's a flood plain. That said, beware of water after big rains. You can always wade into the water to retrieve discs though, rarely over a couple feet deep.
@wildjuan
As hard as Etowah but as flat as Frog Rock. 6/5 stars in the summer. Don’t go if you have pollen allergies. I hope at some point the ponds become a little nicer, maybe dig them down a bit to make them more official and add some OB stakes/walls and such. This could definitely be the top course in Georgia with some extra landscaping and love.
@moose1333
Beautiful course in a flat wooded area that has some water in play for many holes if there has been a recent rain.
