@rylanw
Very fun and unique course. A lot of weeds and rough very easy to get into and challenging to find discs. Baskets are very nice and well designed also.
@garrettk33
Probably one of my favorite courses in the area lot of shot variety definitely a lot of skilled shots needed and not just luck holes. Some good distance but wouldn’t be too much for a player with some experience. Nice teepees nice baskets and great scenery
@ezislandlife
Great hometown course from childhood.
@ging3rvituz
Played after a heavy wet snow … course does get sloppy. Plan to return to see it in its full potential!
@billthecrusher
Very fun course. All tees/signs/baskets are new after 2023 redesign. Mostly wooded shots with some over 400'. Winter round today I gotta come back when everything is green
@ebrustk86
If it were more properly maintained and completely finished it would be top 5 in Iowa. Some mulch, maybe a few mando signs, and regular grooming would really make this difficult course stand out
@koalabaritone
Excellent wooded disc golf course, without the challenge level of Big Woods. Lots of different shot shapes, and overall a super fun time. THANK YOU FOR ARROWS ON THE BASKETS.
@drummaboyx
A while back me and my buddies went and played this course and were thoroughly disappointed by the signage and confusing layout…I’m here to say that it is now a hidden gem! The shots are exciting and varied and the tee signs have been improved. Once you’ve finished a few holes on the back 9 you must trek over the hill to find the other side of the course before eventually making your way back to the other side of the hill for hole 17. While I think there should be arrows added to the baskets to make it more user friendly, this is now my favorite course in the cedar valley. More forgiving than Big Woods if you throw a bad shot and it includes some fun par 4’s that are reminiscent of some courses on the pro tour. If you haven’t played this course in a while, it’s more than worth a revisit
@slogdog
Around 6 holes with flooded tee boxes, baskets or fairways.
@grizzlyman89
I enjoy playing this type of course. Only downside is if the pads are wet they are very slick.
@joelhyler
I play MA1 in tournaments and the blues really had me testing my skills and hitting gaps. Pretty difficult course but really fun.
@blackbox21
Unmoved with lots of poison ivy. Hole 14 is the dumbest teepad setup I’ve ever seen.
@proutyj
Love the new course. Keeping the bushwhacking backwood spirit of the old course with new and interesting fairways, tricky short shots and all those cursed trees! Thanks!
@sedivec
My favorite course in cedar valley. Great mixture of holes and long tees dont just add distance, but add challenge. Layout can be confusing your first time as many baskets are blind from the tee or you can see other holes baskets as well. Pay attention to signage and arrows on baskets pointing to next tee. After hole 11 go across the dike. Maintenance and grounds keeping has been very good so far. Could use new tee signs.
@marcus13
The new redesign has definitely improved the course. I haven’t played here since 2022, I love the addition of the par 4s. The fairways are a bit overgrown.
@atrain1
Its chaotic when you are in the trees, there's baskets and tee boxes every where, it's hard to figure out where to go next, fun course when you figure it out though.
@schmid
Course is closed. As of 8-7-22. New layout will be open in the spring.
