I showed up, did a background check, and was told the course is on a part of the base I was not allowed to access. Called the number for Outdoor Recreation, and this was pretty much confirmed with a shrug. I wish it was more clear in this course listing that you cannot play this course if you do not have Military Base access, the background check for a civilian is not sufficient to access the course. Save yourself the drive!

Course is at the base of an awesome mountain range, it looks like it was a golf course that died, then they said fuck it and put in a disc golf course. No cement pads, just big blue stakes. You def need this app to play the course. Over all, I really like it and will prob play it a bunch of times over the next 3 weeks.

Fun course to play with beautiful views. Played in June 2024. There are no tee pads, just signage. Very fairways which make for some interesting footing when making approach shots . Definitely recommend using UDisc to help find your next tees.

Some of the scorecard distance were 100+ feet short. Though most were right. It’s a beautiful course regardless. Thanks Army for the challenge

Just be sure to use UDisc. This would have been so bad without it.

Blue course is current. Didn't see white tees out

Love this course but they can mow it a little bit shorter and it'd be perfect!

Awesome playing at the base of the Organ Mountains ⛰️.

Someone else said it in an earlier review, “Disc Golf on a freakin’ MISSILE RANGE.” Didn’t get to experience the whole course, a storm rolled over the mountain and swept of off the course. Played 7-9 in high wind and rain.

Nice course, make sure you tell the attendant at the visitor center that the Disc golf course is on top of the old golf course as they were unfamiliar with disc golf. the Recreation office opens at 9am, so best bet is to come after then

Upkeep on the first 6 and last 2 holes is aweful. Walking through thigh high grass in the fairway

Minimal marking, you need this app. One basket is missing; I think on 12.

Lawn looks good. Maybe a mat for the tee box would be nice to designate the start. Especially if there is going to be a white and a blue box. All in all its nice with a great view

Could be a great course, but 1-6 is over grown by weeds and unplayable. 7-18 is good. Also needs signs. Recommend Call first to find out if playable.

Tried to go as a civilian and do background check to play. Course may be lovely, but we were denied access with the guards saying no disc golf and no one allowed on without CAC card during current covid restrictions.

Lots of open field for driving practice and easy to get to once on white sands

Needs some mowing, usually a great course

Solid, open, challenging course. Because of wind it’s best to try and play as early as possible as wind picks up starting at 1pm or so.
