Dreamland Disc Golf Course

"Disappointed. This course is very scorable for the intermediate player. The problem is that there are many blind shots that require big pumps - which is fine - but the maintenance is terrible. One big shot and you’ll be searching for your disc. The design isn’t very good either. Signage is bad and illogical Not to mention, they just put in a lot of cabins and parking lots which screams liability. Seems like discgolf is becoming an after thought here. Save your $5 and go play anywhere els"

"Well designed to have a good mix of holes. Signage is super helpful, par is very fair (for my level at least haha). When I played it was 7:30a-9:30a in April and it was muggy. Playing in the wide open during summer may be really tough. Really fun course, worth playing! "

"Well planned course, great design with totally inaccurate/inadequate signage. The posted hole maps include landmarks that don’t exist, and don’t include the most prominent features. Someone could really improve this course with a paint pen on the tee boxes and include the buildings and roads so you can tell where baskets are from the tee box. "

"Play some where else. There are better courses all over Austin that are free and better designed. The overwhelming majority of holes on this course are blind and unoriginal with many of them being dog legs to the left for no apparent reason. Par 3 holes are really par 4 and par 4 should be par 5. Over the entire course there is one trash can at hole 11. That’s it. The course is not fun. It’s extremely rocky and chews up your discs. I would rather play zilker on a weekend in 100 degree weather. "

"$5 entrance fee was fine. Course signage is very good. Very helpful signs point you to the next tee. A lot of fallen tree piles from ice storms. Fun course. The only bad thing is they are putting in tiny houses which make 18 dangerous. "

"Amazing Hill country disc golf course... Just check-in and go on the walk up to hole 1. Really good mix of long and short holes with even elevation. Easy to navigate and love the signage and pads. My favorite local course for sure."

"Fun course with a mixture of short and long holes. Some elevation change to provide both uphill and downhill holes. Some right and wooded and the longer part 4 holes are well designed to allow for bombing open shots that require a specific landing zone. Power without accuracy doesn't equal better scores out here. "

"This is a super fun, challenging course. The biggest challenge is there’s not real fairways or lines. Super nice baskets and decent tee pads but not an inch of the course is groomed. Worth the $3 don’t get me wrong but would pay $10 if they just spent 1 day every two weeks mowing. You’re lost on 3-5 holes as you just can’t find the basket. "

"Once you get to the first tee it’s really easy to follow the signs. Enough elevation to make you think about your shot uphill and a couple downhill shots that will boost your driving confidence. The hole breakdowns on the tee are accurate and probably the best line for the disc to go through. On hole 9 they have a cooler with water which is right about where you need it. All in all a pretty interesting course with short trees to keep you honest."

"Great course but only bad part I’d say is the tee boxes since they’re uneven. If they upgraded the boxes, this would be a 5 star course. Still a fun round!"

"Very unique course. Generous with par 4 and par 5s for the longer holes. No creeks or water hazards. Hole 18 is unlike any other finalé. Watch out for the residential mini-houses!"

"Overall this course is great and definitely worth the $3. A few shorter ace opps and the rest are pretty long, lots of open fairways with some trees interspersed. Some of the scoring is a little generous, but it's a great mix of shots. I used every disc in my bag at some point or another. Saw some cattle, including a super cute calf (definitely a lot of patties around). Also saw a coachwhip (snake), maybe 3.5 feet long. Probably looking for mice and nonvenomous. Welcome to Central Texas haha."

"Interesting course. Don’t like the rubber mat pads might be better just with gravel tee pads. The whole facility is pretty awesome but give this course some time and it will be pretty awesome. Mature trees , lots of rocks , cart friendly , cows , it has It all. I’ll definitely come play again. They did have a cooler with water at the 9th hole. Pay to play $3.50 per round. Food trucks, a Tap room and bar! "

"Pretty fun course. Some of the pars are pretty generous. Baskets are really nice. Tee pads are rubber and a little uneven. My main complaint is, there were people camping on hole 1's fairway and someone had their hammock set up on hole 3's tee pad. The way I see it, if you have to pay to play, people shouldn't be allowed to camp out in the fairways or on the tee boxes. "

"Super fun, more open then not, great back and forth, long but not tedious! Kids can play at the mini golf or splash pad and you can have a great time! "

"It has individual hole signs and footages, rubber tees, and the grass is short. For a casual course that is huge. "

"Pretty easy course. Some easy par 4 holes but it makes up for it in some hard par 3 holes. Cow patties everywhere and I didn't see any cows wandering on the property. Those definitely need to be taken care of."

"Could majorly benefit from some water stations as it gets dangerously hot with minimal shade. Speargrass destroys running shoes, even in the fairways, so wear boots. Course layout itself is really fun with some good bomb shots, easy par 4s, and some other more challenging holes. Good signage and tees, lots of potential. Come prepared."

"Long course with some really fun holes. Cons: zero water anywhere. This might sound like a silly con, just bring your own right. But when it’s 105 and there’s nowhere to get water out there at all it becomes dangerous. Otherwise definitely worth a play! "
