About the course

Recently updated: All tees are now concrete with the exception of 4, 11, and 15. This course is a par 56 from tee to yellow pin and a par 58 from tee to red pins. There are permanent red alternate pins on holes: 5, 14, & 18 currently. Beware: 18 red pin location is overgrown and needs to be mowed. Long tee positions are a work in progress. There are longer walk after a few holes: After hole 2 follow the road to the left, 3s tee pad is along the road and plays back up the hill. After hole 11 you will walk out past 9s tee and 12 is just past it on the tree line. After hole 13 you will walk left, up a long hilly path past 17s pin. The tee is at the top of the hill on the left. Any questions or concerns please contact the Lancaster disc golf alliance on Facebook:

Was thinking this should be #5 in Ohio instead of Lobdell, until I saw 18. Really awkward, dangerous transition from tee to basket. Otherwise, tremendous course!

This property has good bones, great terrain, and is set up to be a fantastic course. Unfortunately the layout & design choices have not been refined to meet that potential yet. Pros: -Good baskets, concrete tees are in progress -terrain allows for varied hole style (open, tight wooded, park style, elevation) -minimal other park activities -room to build an excellent course -varied shot shapes required -the short par 3s all ask for different shots Cons: -course flow after hole 8 is confusing without Udisc -too many very short holes in a row (7-13, 15, and 17). -layout does not yet maximize what could be on the property -maintenance/upkeep seems to vary pretty drastically -difficulty varies too much for the course to feel like a cohesive design -a couple dangerous fairways/walking paths (5, 6, and 17) This course and property have potential to match some of the best courses in Ohio, its just not there yet.
