"This course is fun, definitely mountain golf, and has a ton of potential, but there are a couple main things that keep it from being awesome: 1. Distances are short on both UDisc and the tee maps (when present), and usually off by a fair bit. If you have a rangefinder, use it. 2. Tee boxes, as stated by others, are sometimes good, sometimes okay, and sometimes terrible. 3. UDisc map is off for the first 6 holes. After that it works, save for the aforementioned distance discrepancies."

"The course appears to be in the middle of a rebuild. Once that’s done it would easily be 4 stars. Right now pads and holes are a bit unclear. Beautiful course tho and worth playing "

"Pretty fun layout, though generally pretty short. Fun use of elevation, and beautiful views. Tee pads being mostly sand/dirt is the biggest knock, and it looks like they’re starting to get pavers in on a few of the teepads "

"One of the best courses I've ever been to! Beautiful scenery. Great layout. My only complaints are the signage and the tee-pads. The signage is falling down and needs to be replaced. It would also be helpful if someone labeled the baskets because some of the cages are close together and it can be confusing if it's your first time at the course. Tee-pads are bad. Still, it's such a fun course, with so many fun elevation changes throughout the course. With a few upgrades this course can be elite!!"

"Awesome course in amazing scenery, Gravel road to the lot, vault toilets, easy enough to follow with Udisc, Teepads are pretty rough but ran into some of the volunteers who said concrete pads were in the future, which would really make this course, either way, lots of fun! "

"I’m giving this place five stars despite the only two shortcomings I see (and others mention). I’d love to see the course marked better (at all, really) so navigating was easier. Tee pads are not really pads. Not a James Conrad run up anywhere here. I throw mostly step forehands, so it wasn’t a problem for me, but the dirt tees need some filling and ideally tamping. That said, it’s one of my favorite courses ever. Elevation on every hole. No lost discs, either!"

"The front nine are nice technical holes, with lots of trees and boulders acting as obstacles. The back nine are far more simple, barring hole 18, which is not only a long hole, but has plenty of obstacles as well. Very good course."

"FIVE STAR COURSE!!!! (just lacking real teepads and a couple more par 4’s) Incredible scenery, shot variety, trails, signs, baskets, etc…..FANTASTIC disc golf experience. *Not for beginners*: High elevation on top of some uphill shots makes this way too challenging for a beginner to get any distance. Work your way up to it!"

"Pretty sweet course. Lots of really fun throws, and lots of ways to shape shots. This course would be a 5 easily if the tee boxes were better, and some better signage to help find your way around the course. "

"I thought this was a fantastic course through mature pine trees and unique rock formations. The shorter holes are uphill and challenging and the longer holes are more open and downhill. The baskets are in great shape but the dirt tee pads could use little maintenance."

"There is so much potential here. A few things need work though. Baskets absolutely need to be numbered. I've played 100+ courses blind and never been as confused as I was here. Too many baskets close by, the signs don't match up with the holes, and the tees are terrible for long drives. Amazing course though."

"Course is cleaned up and the new layout can be played if you follow the flags for holes 3, 4 & 5. Or have a local who knows. Course is playing great. Fun technical lines with a few Bomber shots. I love playing this course and the club that takes care of it. "

The layout is easy to figure out, there are tee signs, and the boxes, though dirt, are level for the most part and easy to throw from. Beautiful scenery, some fun, challenging holes, and not many people out on a Saturday. Definitely playing whenever I’m passing through Butte. "
