I can't believe how far this course has come since it opened as a 9 hole less than a year ago, and the full 18 has only been available since November 2022. Every time I visit, it's improving, with new tee pads, ground maintenance and lines opening up. I appreciate the City of Guelph taking its time and carefully designing this property for free to the community of disc golfers. As it keeps improving, it is sure to be one of the best courses in southern Ontario. The future is bright here!
@johntpt25
absolutely love this course! Some challenging lies and great views with lots of shot variety!
@iferguson
Maturing well. Elevation, distance, and shape; provide lots of variety to the holes. A few holes will challenge your scramble, wind will challenge your disc selection in various ways. Some water, but not overly penalizing if you make good choices. A bogey free round doesn't happen as often here.
@empringham
Love the score-able par 4s. Some great lines. Lots of chances to go for eagles.
@jradwan
Maybe some questionable hole design/placement choices— front 9 was nice and technical, back 9 is a trip to hell.
@lroedding
Currently soggy, muddy slippery be careful and wear waterproof 👢
@hockeyrox88
Best course I've played, incredible shot shapes, fun course to traverse, and good for all skill levels while airing on the challenging side!!
@jorgejensen
A beautiful disc golf course adjacent to a community sports complex. A nice mix of open holes, parkland and tight woods. It’s very well maintained with excellent concrete teepads. The long layout is very accessible to anyone who throws a minimum of 300’
@mlesiw
Great fun and challenging course
@tribonk
It’s been a year since I last played Eastview. What an awesome course. All baskets have two concrete tee pads, and flags that mark a beginner course. Makes the course much more fun to play for everyone. Shots still require finesse through trees. The trees are youngish so lots of low hanging branches. (Makes difference between birdie and par). Next step tee signs that mark OB.
@defcon
Looking good for a course that's just recently opened the front 9. Definitely short, but still fun. Could use more signage for finding the first tee, and for the longer walks between holes. Additional clarification on the signs for which tee is short and which is long would be good too. Looking forward to seeing it improve.
@dylbot
Beautifully maintained course with several unique holes. A gem in southern Ontario. The city of Guelph staff have done an amazing job.
@joeljbryant
Tight 18 hole wooded course with a few open shots, updated in 2023 with a challenging but incredible back nine with several major elevation changes.
@bspafford
A nice new addition to the Guelph disc scene. Very wooded which is a nice change to the other courses in the area. Once proper pads go in this will be 5 stars
@crousinator
Lots of variety, good use of elevation. Risk reward shots on the back 9 make scoring interesting. Fantastic teeing areas and baskets. One hole in my opinion needs some redesign, apart from that a must play in the area. Needs some professional signage for the tee areas and way finding, maybe more infrastructure installed in the dangerous areas (steep slopes). Huge boosts are good practice areas (field and practice basket), easy access with tons of parking, away from most pedestrians, professional lost disc service, a dedicated city constantly improving the park and features.
@fitwepps
Boxes a little muddy/wet. Most of the course is decent given it’s February.
@chedduh
This course is an absolute gem. Easily the best course in the area and top 10 in the province. One of the nicest free to play courses I’ve ever played. You need to play this course if you haven’t, it’s really got everything
