"I’m new to the area. Great course. Three tee pads on every hole and multiple basket location possibilities. Mostly par 3s and a few par 4s. It’s sandy and hot, with lots of bugs and ants, so keep that in mind. However, the course is solid and in a large park with bathrooms and playgrounds for the family. Overall, great course."

"Beautiful course! Possibility of going into people's yards on hole 3, 13, and 15, street hazard on hole 15, water hazards on hole 9 and 10, and holes 6 and 7 are heavily wooded technical shots. Very well maintained, and a perfect blend of technical and open shots."

"Definitely worth coming to from out of town as the holes are fun to play and it’s a beautiful property with some wonderful long shots. Only downsides to the course: differing size tee pads most being a little to small, lots of mandos due to fairway design being just slightly dangerous, and a couple woods holes that are poke and hope to the basket."

"WARNING: Ed Austin Park is having troubles with car theft. Went there from out of town (Jan 29) and car got broken into and wallets/credit cards stolen, Jax Police said people have been copying electronic keypads, entering vehicles and stealing. I wish I was joking but this very much happened to me. "

Water hazards will claim your disc if you do not have the throw. Recco novice players to aim for the shores until your ability allows for more. Bathrooms and water stations for hydration and expelling. Please adhere to rules when following another group. If your a fast play ask to play thru. Most will honor the request. "

"Excellent course. Varied types of holes; open, densely wooded, water hazard, and a few tight turns. It’s always clean and well maintained. There’s benches and bag hooks at each tee. Hole 10’s tee box is by the parking lot so you can refill on drinks or hit the restroom (when it isn’t closed for COVID). IMO it’s the nicest course in Jax, followed closely by New World. "

"Course is constantly changing because of a league that plays there and at non of the other 6 courses available in town so dont expect to ever really get a chance to improve your score. Odds are you'll be playing a different layout since it changes almost bi weekly or holes gwy changed completely due to league boredom"

"Expecting better based on rating. The good- plenty of options to play many holes, nice signs and boxes. The bad- so many tee boxes hard to find next hole based on layout. I wish all the people that normally play would take the time to map it on UDisc. "

"Course is great good wind for forward low shooting and high speed shots. Low and let it go. Try pistol grip and remember to shift my weight from back foot to front foot lifting back foot up and leaning towards target basket. Goal at Austin is to get consistent distance."
