About the course

This course is a fun layout as well as a piece of scenic beauty in Northern Alaska. The first and second tees can be found just off of Central Ave to the right (if coming from the Eielson Hersey Gate), as the rest of the course can be found just driving distance headed to the French Creek housing. A mixture of wooded and open play test your skills on this majority 3 par 9 basket course. There are just a few holes that have out of bounds play and there are zero mandatory, so playing the course exactly as you wish is a breeze!

The course has potential but needs a lot of work. A few holes do not have tee pads, some lacked signs, none of the have wayfinding. Without Udisc, you would have a hard time findings holes. #1 &2 are ar least 1/3mi from the rest of the course. On the plus side, the baskets looked relatively new.

Would be impossible to navigate without UDisc. A lot of needless walking between holes. Most shots are around 320 feet with no obstacles. Course is overgrown. Some holes do not have tee-pads. Those that do are uneven and surrounded by overgrown vegetation. Doesn’t seem to get much play. Cool chunk of land that could hold a fun course I think. Recommend just playing Safari-golf out here and inventing your own shots.
