Long and short are two completely different courses which is great. Some attention could be paid to controlling erosion on some of the hills to preserve the course.

Great layout. Hole 5 has no line. Somehow made it thrue. Nice rolling wooded terrain. Some bugs. Recommend the shorts. Longs are narrow and fairly long. Some holes have thick out of bounds. Spotter is good. Helped a player in front of us twice to find his disc.

Perfectly coherent course. Has the bits and bobs you would expect, at least on the 18 long layout. It's good. Quibbles are the shots felt a bit similar. Had enough right finishing holes back to back that we noticed while playing. At least one of the "technical" holes felt like they just put a basket after a cluster of trees and called it good. Well done course, great resource for locals. Not quite a destination course.

Unfortunate that this course opens and closes with holes that are kind of "meh", because from hole 5 to hole 16 it's quite good. Elevation changes, tricky but fair lines and good scenery dominate the middle of this course. The long and short tees are brilliantly arranged to provide competition between skill levels.

With a bit better signage it would go up the half star. Tee signs are a little confusing as the long tees flup flop between red and yellow. Had to keep referencing udisc. Distances don't match up completely. Par is off on hole 5 from tee sign to udisc. Gets a little confusing on the last couple holes as there's multiple baskets and tees and mowed grass areas. Next tee signs would be an amazing help, navigation from hole to hole is a bit sketchy in the interior. Fee of the interior holes get a little poke and hope but there's good use of elevation and demands touch as well as a little power along with a variety of shots.

Top notch course, especially with the Amateur World Championships being played there soon so the upkeep is A+ at the moment (not sure how it normally is). If you're trying to decide which layout to play, just skip the alt holes. A, B, and C are overgrown and seem essentially abandoned with the walking paths almost non-existent between the holes, plus no teepads that I could locate. Basically just begging to lose a disc and get poison ivy on your trip back to the main 18. Plus D, E, and F don't look like anything special. Lastly, I'd recommend just playing the long tees; I throw like 300' max and I didn't find it overly frustrating or intimidating like I thought I would given the reputation of the place (the pars seem fair as well).

Came from out of town to play this 4.5 course. Didn’t feel like a 4.5. Dramatically different between shorts and longs. Also the alts for a round of 24 especially A-C need pads, played and thinned out. Highly recommend playing 18 long for the best overall experience.

Signage is great, porta-potty and practice basket for easy pre-round putting. The layout features a mix of wide open and technical woods play both shorter and longer within. Great changes in elevation are around every corner but the fitness level still doesn’t seem overwhelming. Gorgeous fairways overall and the natural beauty for new visitors is rather epic. Might be an “all clear” bell or two which is neat as well. Home of 2017 Masters World Championships won by Barry Schultz The only weakness is their baskets are badly in need of an upgrade. Chainstar Pro would make the park a full 5 stars imo.

Had a great time with the fam. Some harder holes but very fun and not extremely challenging. Good exercise also!

Awesome course, great combination of distance and woods. Alternates as well! After playing here over the last few years, I believe this is one of the few courses that deserves 5 stars. A gem in W Michigan.

A really fun course. Well maintained and it makes you throw a lot of different shots with both short and long tees.
