About the course

Park at the gate off of Century Drive. The first tee during winter months is about 100 yards behind the gate (throws at the original target for hole 8 on the summer layout). There is also an alternate tee pad on hole 13 in winter to avoid the walk back to summer layout's first tee pad. NOTE: This is one of the few courses in Bend designed to be (somewhat) playable during winter months. If the conditions aren't great on the day you play, please share that information in the "current conditions" section rather than leaving a poor review or low ranking based on the day's conditions. It's going to be soggy and wet a lot of days and the tee pads are going to be kind of rough for most of winter. As Thoreau said, "I would rather play a rogue course in middle of nowhere and have it all to myself than be crowded on a velvet tee pad." The course offers several layouts to accommodate a variety of players and preferences. The Main layout can be fairly challenging for most players with an average distance over 315 feet while the Winter Birdies layout features slightly shorter options (average distance of 285 feet) that prioritize shot-shaping accuracy over distance.

Super fun renegade course. Demands a dead straight 300 ft shot

Fun new renegade course! The builder has taken care to assemble obvious boxes, with great route finding from pin to pad. It is obvious, that there are both long pin and pad options. It’s in the shorter, winter Birdie Layout. Good use of ridge to ridge shots, but worried the over road shots will get noticed by the USFS; still, cool shots! Being nestled in among 4-other full sized renegade courses, it offers the feel of Lost, but not as dirty as it’s neighbor, Forgotten. Worth a Play!
