About the course

Welcome to Disc Golf at Faith Community Church! Hours: Dawn to Dusk Check Facebook group “FCC Disc Golf Course” for community events that may cause some holes to be temporarily unavailable. Holes 5-8 will always be available. As of January 2024 we have a plan in place to start adding paver style pads. These things of course take money. Feel free to scan the DONATE link at hole 1. We know the pads are the courses Achilles heel. We want to fix it too. This is a beginner's pitch and putt style course. It's not meant to be a difficult challenge, though we have tried to use the trees to add a bit of technicality and risk. There is a layout called Safari 9 if you want a bit more challenge. The teepads are the best the church allowed. The "Evens and Odds" has been abandoned, but tee signs are $. The course has a "Main" and "Short" setup that we alternate between. The course features open fields, a water hazard, and woods. As any course in Florida has, there are VENOMOUS REPTILES in the area. Be aware! Parking is available in the main church parking lot. To park nearest the 1st tee, park in the southeast section of the parking lot and walk across the field to the southern tree line. You will see the disc golf welcome sign. The 1st tee is southeast of the sign. All pavement and beyond is OB. Sidewalks are casual. Sidewalk in front of Church and under cooking tent is OB. The playground on the side of the church is ALWAYS OB. Regardless of occupation or course layout. You may never throw over the playground for any reason. Enjoy and stay safe! Be aware of wildlife and play at your own risk. 911 Address is 3450 County Road 210, St. Johns, FL 32259. For more information about Faith Community Church, visit www.fccstjohns.com. Sunday service is at 10am!

This course is a gem for several reasons: - it's ideal for beginners. It's short and easily approachable so newbies don't get discouraged. - it's perfect for a quick round after work. I wish Jax had more neighborhood courses like this one. - it's right by a main road, which promotes the visibility of the sport to the general public. - it has a good mix of open fairways, tight wooded lines, mandos/OB and a single water carry, which makes it great for practice with little risk of losing a disc. The only downsides are the lack of a bathroom, and slippery/uneven teepads (but I hear those are getting worked on!)

Not a bad little course for an Eagle Scout project! Not too challenging but has a little bit of everything. Some rubber tee pads, some natural. Could you some work with smoothing out the lumps in the tee areas. Found myself tripping on the run up a few times. I can see there being a lot of aces being made at this course.
