Absolutely fantastic course. It needs some love (and can tell there's a crew working on it), but pretty overgrown right now...still will play again next time I'm in the area. You're gonna get better playing at a course like this

FDR is a great park and course with two well crafted layouts! You’ll find a nice mix of technical wooded lines and long holes spotted with old growth trees and grassy fairways.

This course was amazing. Out of the 60 courses I have played this is easily top #5. Has great variety and makes really good use of wooded and open holes. The open holes are fun but watch out for the OB!

I'm from Dallas area, first time playing the course. Loved the mix of wooded and bomber holes(which hurt and helped my score respectively)(to be expected) Could use additional signage after hole 9 and 13 on the long baskets. Bathrooms were usable and stocked with TP, but pretty dirty.

A great mix of open, long, wooded, tight. Course has it all - good signs, well labeled and fair rough (for the most part- course lost half a star because some of the rough is a bit untrimmed

Felt like I played two completely different courses. Front 9 is all wooded. The back 9 is more for distance and open fairways. If you go in the fall, you’ll probably lose a disc under the leaves.

Great course, but 18th holes have moved without signs updating. It is the shorter, visible options.
