@jdsfree
Needs weed whacking badly on the fairways, tee pads and basket areas
@darylboggs
I’m sure it’s fun when maintained, but the weeds are painful
@sirmoose
One of my favorites in Northern California. Very challenging, used almost everything in my bag. They’ve done some work out here with new tee pads and hole 19 completely changed.
@cranutan
Really a pretty incredible course. lots of shot variety good amount of elevation change and some bomber distance holes. If you’d like to throw far, you will enjoy this, but it’s not all open you’ve got some tight wooded lines. If you keep it in the fairways you’re golden, but if you get in the rough, it is very punishing. The signs only indicate which hole you’re at they do not show shot shape or basket direction but the GPS on UDisc is pretty good and there are pretty obvious trails to follow. You’re definitely going to get your steps in the full loop is about 10,000! More people need to come out and play this course, with a little bit more money to upgrade some signs baskets and pads this could easily be one of the most fun and challenging courses in Northern California!
@bakerbaker530
Lots of fun shots that require distance and accuracy. It is easy to get into trouble if you don't keep it in the fairway. Tee pads are being updated slowly. The rubber pads are uneven and slippery.
@robstubben
Better in fall
@antmiller
Tough course. Bring friends to help find shots. Bomber but fun.
@lukehammer
Bring a bunch of food and water. No joke. You’ll be here 4 hours at least. Lots of looking for discs (yes I could use to improve) lots of off the fairway. Fun, but tough.
@oilcan66
Fantastic, difficult, long. Don’t play it if you are a beginner unsure if you like disc yet, this course will kick your ass! Lots of long blind holes, you’ll need uDisc! Use spotters where possible.
@noahdodge
This is a bear of a course. Par is a very good thing here. Be prepared for a long hike. Lots of elevation change and poison oak to look out for. Super technical in all layouts. I would not recommend for a newer player. This course will test your game mentally and physically. With that said it’s a beautiful course that is a little rough around the edges as far as upkeep, but requires you to keep it in the fairways. Many aspects of this place remind me of DeLaveaga. Concrete tee pads are starting to be installed which is a huge plus. Good things look to be on the horizon for Finnon. There is a lot of potential with the right amount of care for this course. I look forward to my future visits here.
@baileybrown15
Absolutely awesome course. One of my favorite in Nor Cal.
@jeffbartelli
Finnon Lake used to be a fun course to visit and even camp at. But the fairways have not been maintained and are now full of juvenile shrubs and trees, if not fallen trees and brush. On top of this, the baskets and signage haven't been maintained and are now outdated. This place is in need of serious TLC.
@kevincallahan
Tee pads are important.
@jdkelly
If you can’t throw 400, this course is extremely challenging. Still some fun lines. Was pretty overgrown and tee pads are sub par. No discs list with our group of 5, that’s a win. The on site diner was delicious.
@mkfrantz
Great layout, a few fairways are a little overgrown but very fun
@wiggyjiggy420
This is not a beginners course. So much comes in to play on this course so bring out the utility discs. At 27 holes this course takes some time to finish so pack tons of water and snacks. I recommend camping here and start on hole 16. When searching for hole 27 follow the sign that says mando right after 26, its tucked way up the hill. Watch for poison oak and be careful shooting from the old water tower. There's always a lot of growth on the course but the fairways are usually clear. *UPDATE* Course is really lacking signage as well as needed maintenance for the new tee positions. I love this place, but it's long over due for a haircut.
@mfarkus
Stickers for days. Fun and challenging course
@odin1103
26 holes now and will be 27 in May. Very challenging, keep shots true, there is a heavy price to pay for getting off the fairway. Might not be a good choice for beginners, it can drain you of your will if you let it.
