Loved it. Beautiful walk through the woods, very well taken care of. New tees, new signs, new benches, multiple baskets on several holes. New changes not updated in UDisc yet. Fun woods golf, half moderate length, half short technical…just an enjoyable round of disc golf in the woods. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

@christya
Love the updates to the course! Very impressed with all the hard work. We will be playing there more often.

@dadof5girls1
Played a tournament here and loved the course. It tested you mentally and was fair. Im a lefty and there was enough shot variety throughout the course.
@skiingbronconut
The new tee pads and redesign has elevated this course to a favorite in north alabama. Averaging around 260ish feet per hole, the shot shapes make this course fun for all levels.... BUT BE WARNED: STAY ON THE FAIRWAY WHEN ATTACKING HOLE 17!
@tgrant256
Course is full of the kinds of shots I need to work on haha, short and technical.

@ethanb1098
The updated layout is really nice. Enjoyed playing out here.

@lightsnake2012
Very fun course with a wide variety of throws. I used almost every disc in my bag, including some I haven't used in months. It's not the most challenging course, but it was very enjoyable, and I look forward to coming back.

@treeattack
Loved it, tough but fun!!
@tfuhrmann
I love it. Great property with short holes but still a challenge. UDisc fell apart on the back 9.
@shockling
Tight fairways and rocky greens make for very specific shot shape. Brand new concrete teepads and signs made the course easy to follow. Reminds me of the courses in Michigan and not the open fields around this area.

@joshlenox
Very much improved! Still not great. Tight wooded, short course. Very buggy, bring spray. Often, the gate is locked. Park by the gate and hike in.

@joecpig
New layout. Lavone updated in mid July 2025. Short but difficult. Can be punished for good throws by clipping a tree. Fairways are narrow and bending. I know they’re still scheduled to remove a lot of trees and finalize the layout so be patient. UDisc hasn’t been updated to reflect new layout as well. Overall, cool design. Hit your lines with your midrange discs.

@knoxwillis
Cold be a REALLY fun course. Shorter (250 and below) holes with some fun shot shaping….but the last 4/5 holes need some MAJOR UPKEEP. Weeds and overgrown branches ruin perfect shots. Has a ton of potential.

@jt3073
Love this course, only thing it needs is gravel at hole 2,3, and 4 and it would be perfect

@blankthor
The only thing holding this course back is the tees! It is absolutely beautiful, it’s like playing through a forest in the Lord of the Rings.

@muttbohn
Great course since the redesign. Could use some brooms to sweep the small pebbles off the tee pads.

@dseibert
Wow…such an incredible course transformation. Totally worth more than an hour to drive to play there. Truly a gem for North Alabama Disc Golfers. With tight but fair lines, this wooded and flat course is so much fun. The fact that it is now fully cart ready and has new baskets is just icing on the cake. It had been 5 years since I’ve last played there but I will be playing it again soon…but I’ll do better to stay in the fairways ;)

@brandosolo
Course upgrades are fantastic! Challenging course. Front 7 are tough, but lots of birdie holes from 8- 16. Highly recommend this course!
