"Aside from tee pads, the most dern underrated course in all of North Carolina. Hidden gem."

"Awesome course! Definitely better than the overrated Rolling Pines! Great job Todd P!"
Nov 23, 2022
"Peaceful and wooded. Well designed. The White tees offer birdie opportunities on every hole. The blues are technical and challenging, but nothing to be scared of. "

"Not super well kept, but a fun tough woods course"

"Challenging, but fun course. Well marked. "

Jul 3, 2022
"Slippery and steep but fun"
Jun 29, 2022
"Good course. Shorter holes, with more technical shots. "
May 20, 2022
"Very physically taxing, definitely gonna have to get in better shape for next time"
Apr 24, 2022
"Great course aside from needing some teepad TLC. Signage is great, holes are fair and demand shaping your shot. Well balanced course for righties and lefties. "

"There is a TON of obstacles, and the pars seem a bit (quite a bit, actually) far-fetched for beginners to achieve. Really hilly. But, it was still a lot of fun! Just be careful and don’t get hurt hiking around the woods. They are NOT super easily accessible. "

"A great hike while throwing discs. Wooded but fair. A Great complimentary course to Rolling Pines making Wilkes a solid destination for a day of disc golf. Tee pads aren't 5 star. "

"It’s free to play u til October first!!!! Really great course has tight wooded fairways. Some trimming could be done on a few holes but still very enjoyable. Tees pads are not the greatest."
Dec 5, 2021
"Love this course. Played from the blue tees two days in a row. Very challenging but fair. Beautiful views around the lake. Some of the holes are very steep."
Nov 6, 2021
"Not bad! Definitely lots of hills with leaves - some blind shots too, lost a disc unfortunately but recommend!"
Nov 1, 2021
"Some tee pads slippery, need some gravel. "
Jul 15, 2021
"Tight woodsy course. Plenty of hills and unique basket placement. "
Jul 3, 2021
"Played the white pads. Nice track. Definitely disc up. Some short holes play long. Hole 12 was hard to find. Slippery Tee pads too. Bring appropriate shoes. Happy slinging!"
May 9, 2021
"Smaller gaps isnt the only way to make the long tees harder"
May 3, 2021
"Could use a little maintenance on a few holes. Don’t know if the recent storm is the reason for the trees down between holes two and three. Overall fun course very technical tight wooded"
Apr 28, 2021
"No surprise the Army Corp of Engineers has designed and maintained a great course. Great variance in difficulty between blue and white tees. This ones a work out, and a bit more on the advanced side. Definitely worth the yearly pass for 40 dollars. Beautiful holes around the lake. "
Apr 25, 2021
"Beautiful course. Well maintained. Great views. Lots of fun downhill shots. "

"Solid blue and white tees. I’d recommend it to anyone trying to improve their game or just looking for a nice course in the mountains. Be prepared for some elevation change."
Apr 5, 2021
"Park is closed until April 15, but we enjoyed a beautiful day and round."
Apr 3, 2021
"Played here second round after Rolling Hills. Way more elevation than I needed. Not cart friendly at all. If you like technical courses with a lot of trees, this coarse is for you..Over all good layout. The blues are a lot tougher than the whites. As they should be. "
Mar 13, 2021
"Very tough course with lots of trees. Good upkeep and conditions!"
Dec 19, 2020
"The direction signs for tee pads could use some updating. Good hole designs"
Dec 9, 2020
"Great Course to play. It is wooded and technical. Water in play on hole 13. Nice signage for long and short tees. Teepads have been fixed and the fallen tree on 18 has been removed. Even tho the park itself closes in mid April, the course is still playable by parking outside the park and starting on hole 5. This course is very underrated and the best course in Wilkesboro for technical players. If you are in the area, it’s a must play! "

"Hole 4 need some grooming. Other than that, this is a great course. "
Aug 12, 2020
"Not upkept "
Aug 10, 2020
"Course is poorly designed and needs a lot of maintenance with bug problems and overgrown plants to be playable"
Aug 8, 2020
"This is a really fun and well designed course. The fairways are a little rough (you could lose a disc in the fairway) and there are a lot of spiderweb! Would definitely recommend bringing bug spray. A few really pretty holes that go by the water. Blue tees for challenge and white tee pads for an easier play through. "
Aug 5, 2020
"Course seems like it hasn’t been maintained in a while. Tons of spiderwebs even in the fairways, and several holes are horribly overgrown. Bring your lungs because the elevation is a bit crazy."
Jul 29, 2020
"Beautiful scenery, difficult course with tight fairways, water hazards on a few holes. Not for the faint of heart, the rough is super thick with holly bushes, thorns and very tall grass. Could use a little trimming of some of the plants on the fairways but other than that excellent!"
Jul 6, 2020
"Needs more maintenance on some holes. Cool course that can act like a small hike as well!"
Jun 10, 2020
"Beautiful course. I will always go back and recommend this course. "
Dec 8, 2019
"Tough course. Lots of narrow shots but lots of variation. Winter has done a number on the course though so maintenance is much needed. "
Nov 3, 2019
"Course is great, just a few down trees, covered trails & a few tee pads could use a little love. "
Aug 3, 2019
"Hole 18 has a large tree downed on the walking path. The fairways and paths on most of the course could use some maintenance. Decent course overall with a couple of unique holes."
Jul 27, 2019
"Warning: $5 parking fee per car when I went, but don’t let that deter you. This course has some pretty bad reviews, but I still think it’s a blast. The majority of these holes are great! There’s some notable holes that need terrible upkeep though; hole 18 is a disaster. I had to pick up the hole description sign as it was in a ditch. But, I still thought most of it was a great course. Would be sick if it was a little better maintained though. "
Apr 6, 2019
"Gate to get into park was closed. Weird signage in some places but overall pretty decent. There’s a couple of really cool downhill shots too. "
Nov 29, 2018
"Would be a 5* if the tee pads were level and not so slippery when wet"
Sep 20, 2018
"Several baskets under water currently."
Aug 17, 2018
"Good shape, a few downed trees to navigate "
Jul 8, 2018
