Fantastic pitch and putt course that has recently been expanded to a full 18 holes on the lake side. Great variety of specific wooded shot shapes. This course can be played quickly with only a few discs, making it a good option for a quick after work round. The park staff on the lake side support disc golfers and work hard to keep the grounds well-maintained. One of my favorite courses to play in Jackson.
@bigboy225
Some holes differ from the UDisc layout
@tysondent
all of it it the same boring and not worth $2
@colevortexx
I honestly can’t imagine people actually liking this course, not even pitch and putt material and they somehow found sub-par baskets as well?! Zero teepads, Zero upkeep, Zero distance.
@iamthebman13
Still enjoying the course to practice my mid and putters. Tee boxes need to get in order for sure. Mosquito central in the summer
@jtclark2
This is a fun pitch and putt course that was recently expanded to include a few longer throws. It’s fun, allows you to throw a variety of shots, and can be played very quickly with only a few discs. Quick practice option that I would recommend to anyone We are in the process of updating signage and tee pads.
@gregtew
Fun little course. Sort of like putt-putt for disc golf, but good practice for short approach shots. A little hard to find your way in a couple of places and I imagine it's a swamp after a rain.
@peejer2112
This will be a great little course when finished😊
@jtrotter
Fossil Peak is a blast and well worth the $2 entry fee to the park. It’s short but its technicality is a test for everybody. Improvements are coming steadily and make sure to give Karl a hearty thank you for all his efforts when you see him in the gate house, or out on the course.
@burtocks
Great 18 hole short course! Challenging wooded holes with plenty of birdies still to grab.
@aixiel
Good little putt and approach course. There were quite a few teepads with only a flag or 2. There was some missing signage, and the course is a bit overgrown. Has potential.
@frankadeltanka
You can absolutely tell this course is the least important aspect of the park BY FAR. Course is fairly easy but it is a nightmare to navigate through the jungle that is the fairways. Tee "pads" are a small dirt square marked by tiny flags, some have trees growing in them so you have to throw from a different spot.
@austinvertucci
Love the design and can’t wait to see how it improves over the years. Still needs a good bit of work.
@jttodd
Fun course. Someone had parked their truck and boat right in front of 12’s teepad so maybe look at moving the teepad somewhere else.
@robertraymond
A great place to learn and practice new shots. Park is beautiful. It’s great to have a course in the city of Jackson!
@luciiibg
I loved this course originally when it was first updated. But the maintenance isn’t great.
@phinirias
Only baskets are existing, and not all of them. There are no tee pads or tee signs. This is not a disc golf course, this is a public park with random baskets sitting around, but no holes due to missing teepads and tee signs. Don't come here to actually play disc golf.
