I am from North Carolina and have never played this course before. So my review is based off of my first time playing. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. They shot shaping in the woods were challenging enough to make you have to focus on your shot. The open shots were an absolute joy to throw and the course was pretty manicured in the open shot areas. The one con that I have is that there were a couple of holes where someone possibly could have been walking to get to the next basket which puts a player at risk if a disc comes at them. I would suggest looking at the lanes and the walking path from basket to the next tee pad. Overall, though I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course and if I am back in the area again, I am certainly coming back to play it.

Great course, super fun design. A bit disappointed by the wayfinding even with UDisc. Not the friendliest course to out of towners passing through.
@howiesolo
Absolutely love this course. Massive fun factor if you like the woods and don’t mind a bit of overgrowth. Course kicked my tired arse, can’t wait to try again with a fresh arm

Hard to rate this course. I played the longs. The property is amazing and there is so much potential, but poor upkeep, signage, and design make it just ok. Some tee pads are completely innaccessable. There are 10 foot wide tunnel shots with a tree in the middle of the fairway 80% of the way down there. 400+ ft tunnel shots down blind walking paths. Just a lot of things that should be addressed. The short par 4 in the middle of the course is a joke. You can't just call a hole a par 4 because you didn't want to take time to create a fairway. Just take out some trees so you have an actual fairway and make it a par 3. Last problem is that there are 3-4 blind basket locations on every hole with no pin or anything on the tee sign to differentiate between them. Unless you want to walk 400 ft down the fairway and back there's no way to know which placement it's in. There are definitely some great holes out here but it needs some improvements.
@ginkohl
Overall fun course. Walkways were SUPER wet and flooded still from the snow a week ago.
@lauried
Loved the course, great job on making it playable after the hurricane damage. Good use of the hydro line, lots of challenging forest lines to hit. Appreciated the 3 sets of TeePads & cart ramp on hole #10. Good luck with the full recovery!
@nathanbr2
Solid course. Still a little rough from a recent hurricane.
@mattjb93
Distance between holes is crazy, pretty course, but playing blind is slightly aggravating played the 27 hole layout.
@logo803
Fun course, lots of shot shapes to hit. First time playing but I would imagine a big gripe is the "lack of fairway" on a few of the wooded holes, as it's tough to see a shot shape that the course is asking for leading into a few poke and pray situations.. Udisc map is highly inaccurate, distances are drastically different than actual and signs in many places.
@konnerdudley
Great technical course with multiple tee pad options and tracks. Mostly wooded lines but a handful of open bomber holes. Well maintained and some beautiful scenery throughout.
@ktknack
Great course, from Michigan and well worth stopping in! Safe, with disc golf being mostly in a disc golf only area. Very nature hike feeling for 90%. Signage/wayfinding is genuinely bad. Not inconvenient bad, but nearly impossible to navigate which layout goes with with... anything bad. Ambassador/club would benefit to take a beat and get things spruced up in udisc/on the ground.
@ryanconley200
Signage is awful, layout is kind of a mess. Combine those and good freaking luck finding your way around that place. Not sure how playing from the blue tees matches up to the par in here.
@markjanssen
First time course player. As I'm seeing on many other reviews this track need lots of signage. Directional signage is needed most as I spent way too much time looking for fairways instead of playing them. There is some current attempts with weather worm out letter sizes on trees and an occasional temp yard sign, but they didn't really help. And using the udisc map was helpful but still not best. On tee signs, there was only signage on one tee, typically blue, of which many were worn or broken. Some red tees seemed to be marked in dirt by white flags. Design wise, the option of three tees and potential two to three pin placements makes for good vaiety and skill choice. Thete was some nice OB lines on first two holes. I visited in Dec after some rain and it showed on quite a few holes being flooded and wet with no access to pin. I do think that the course would feel a lot nicer in summer with green grass and dry conditions. Generally, the course just needs some love and signage to be a real Solis experience.
@captcaveman308
Need better pad markings, basket markings and wayfindings between baskets and pads.... even w udisc and catching a local in the back 9 to play I spent 2.5hrs to play a 27hole round... Mt front 9 wasn't fast at all
@coryprovau
Wowwwww! First time here and I played the blues. What an amazing course! Will for sure be back! -4 for the first round! I’m ready for the next!!!!
@soccerflash
High grass, poor consistent signage.
@crimsontider44
Hard - lots of hard off the tee shots due to narrow lanes and sharp angles. Very wooded but it sure is a lot of fun! Plan on taking at least 2 hours to play.
@davidjeastman
Beautiful course, as always, but some of the basket placements need correcting.
@ccanupp
Still needs alot of work from the hurricane. Signage for next holes is needed having 27 holes. Good shot variety and pads for different skill levels. Great course just needs a few clean up days to bring it back to what it was before.
@william89890
Amazing course. Probably one of the best in the Southeast.
