Incredible terrain and setting with rolling dunes, hills, woods, and water, giving this course far better bones than most coastal layouts and real long-term potential. • Several genuinely fun and creative holes, including pond-side #2, retaining-wall greens on #3, downhill tee shots on #7 and #9, uphill finishes on #4 and #16, and a unique basket setting on #6. • Leans technical over power, with tight wooded stretches (#13–15), baskets tucked late into woods, and multiple high risk-reward decisions where placement matters more than distance. • Outstanding scenery throughout, including ocean views and dramatic backdrops that make the round memorable even when the golf itself is uneven. • Navigation and infrastructure are the biggest flaws, with inconsistent or missing signage, poor basket condition, confusing routing, and a course that cannot be played blind without a map or app. • Quirky, rough around the edges, and sometimes unsafe or awkwardly executed, but surprisingly enjoyable if you come prepared and accept it as an unconventional, high-potential coastal course rather than a polished park layout.

As I was cleaning out my garage I found my rubber boots that still had needles sticking out of it and reminded me of this course, so I decided to make a review since the course is now gone and I didn't want the memory to die. The course had so much potential but the cacti and stickers are next level, borderline horror movie. When you were playing you're just sweaty and sad and it makes you re-think life. I know it's gone but if for some wild reason this course pops back up hopefully the cacti catch a disease and never come back. So long frisco disco.... you'll be missed.
