About the course
A beautifully wooded 18-hole mountain course with views of Mt. Shasta and Pilot Rock. Lots of elevation change makes it a hike. A good mix of short, mid, and a few longer par fours. In wetter months, some OB water hazards come into play, including a creek and pond. The course is at 4,000" and can become snow-covered in winter.
DIRECTIONS:
Head up Dead Indian Memorial Rd from Ashland. Turn left onto Shale City Rd for Grizzly Peak. Follow Shale City Rd until a few hundred yards past the left-hand turn-off for Grizzly Peak Trail. A gravel parking area sits just off the right-hand side of the road.
