Nice park ($5 entry). There are restrooms near Hole 1 and a practice area with two practice baskets. Signs and Udisc were okay for the most part, but a but tricky/off on a few holes. There's only one layout with one basket per hole. Considering that, there was a good variety of shots/lines, with a few that were pretty neat, including the two "water" carries which aren't really over water unless the lake is really high. Mostly wooded holes, but most holes weren't TOO tight like some courses I've played. My big gripe is the SHORT tee pads. Seems like the same person who designed the Etowah tee pads must've done these. On 2-3 holes, short pads make sense due to distance and terrain. Some pads were flat enough to start behind them. But on at least six holes, the pad is too elevated for that and the pad is short even though there's no reason it had to be made like that. So, there's no way to do an x-step without trying to take awkward baby steps, including on the longest hole on the whole layout. It's so stupid. I'm glad this is not my home course just because of this. .5 stars off just for the tee pads.
