Nice little course that I think has a ton of potential. Played through both the Oranges and Blacks at the end of February (foliage is still died down). Some thoughts: Decent shot variety on both the Oranges and Blacks Way finding is rudimentary (spray paint on trees and blazes) but still pretty clear throughout. Paths are not worn bare but obvious through. Udisc is still very useful and makes navigating the woods much more approachable. Some of the teepads don’t seem aligned on Udisc exactly where they are physically which is probably partly (but not fully) explained by worse geolocation in a more rural area. Areas for improvement include: The Orange and Black teepads seem reversed on hole 9. I think Udisc has it right. Also, the Path to 13 teepads could have a little more clear blazes/flags OR a spray paint on a tree (stick to the right as you’re walking through). Overall I found Oranges to be incredibly playable. The Blacks need more work imo. Areas of improvement include: Hole 5 black guardian trees basically touching the Teepad is kind of dumb. The closest one at least should be removed. Hole 12 Black is tough but should probably be a par 3 still. Path to black starts to get overly rough around 15 as you walk the Black line. Hole 18 Black is to narrow WITH a guardian tree in the middle of the narrow path. Imo this needs heavy reworking. If this course had a few tweaks, better signage, concrete teepads, maybe changing the orientation/placement of a few teepads, I think this is a 4.25+ ⭐️ course. Overall, I had a good time and if you’re remotely in the area might be worth trekking down to Buies Creek to give it a shot!

Fun, short course in the trees. Different tees provide some variety.

Upkeep and postage needs to be a lot better. I thought others were exaggerating, but it’s sad to say they weren’t.
@bifmaster
Decent for practicing upshots, but most fairways force a very specific shot. Fairways are rough, rough is rougher. Leave your drivers at home.
@hotdogface3
Spray Paint has been put around to help people find their way around. The tee pads are not terrible just a little empty.

@pastorkwilson
A great little par three if someone can show you around. Glad to have it close!

@supaspazz
As of current (9Aug22) holes 1-11 are cut and marked. Mower died on me on hole 12. All holes and trail from 1-15 are marked with Pink(long) and Orange (short) survey flagging. Tried my best gonna hit it again soon to finish up

@slayslay
Front 9 is completely out of wack. No clear direction on next hole until you get to the back back 9

@brianphillips
Over all are real fun course, beautiful property lots of potential here.. almost zero tee signs, pads are bad.. and some holes it difficult to find all the pads

@afriendzy
Contact me at [email protected] so we can all get together to come up with a plan to fix and clean up the course serious people only

@racertempo
Potential. Baskets are dark and almost not visible. 209’ par 4 and 370’ par 3, same tight crap. Glad I played once, but won’t go back.
@chrismciver98
Course needs some upkeep. Hard to see where some of the tee pads are.

@izaiahgentry
Very wooded, confusing layout with dirt tees and no course maintenance. Some baskets damaged but very scenic on some holes

@damianwendt
Need some major upkeep

@rice4you
Needs some upkeep, but if you’re looking for a beginner friendly course that’s not busy this is it. Follow hole map and watch for the orange markers on trees.

@discgolfphoenix
Very wooded and somewhat overgrown course. Created in 2010 and needs a lot of upkeep. Basket 4 is broken. Fun fairway shots. Course has great potential if cared for and played. Need UDisc map to find tee boxes. Black rocks on tee boxes are more difficult than orange rocks.

@getoutsidemore
Over grown fairways. Lots of potential though.

@gilbobaggins
Improvements have been made since I last played the course. New tee boxes with cinder & signs. The biggest change is there are now culverts with earthen bridges, so no more jumping across creeks.
