A really nice technical course. Lots of walking up and down hills. Many right finishing downhill holes, so bring your discs that go right.

I expected this course to be difficult. It was as difficult as I expected, but not in the ways that I expected. I came into it thinking of an Iron Hill, Muddy Run or Deer Lakes style course - loads of elevation with reasonably wide, clear fairways and multiple lines that naturally lead to the basket.... The fairways were anything but wide, most lines were littered with thin trees, and even good landing zones were often 8-10 foot wide with a ravine on either side. I see the vision of the course and appreciate its difficulty - this was the hardest -1 I have ever worked for - but I don't think I would make the trip back to play it until a few things have been fixed. To note: very steep. Not beginner friendly. Not cart friendly, and even difficult to hike or retrieve discs in ravines. It was dry today and I still slipped. Very few spots with stairs, and where there were stairs they were a STEEP climb... Extreme caution should be taken. Any semblence of rain and I would pass. Elevation changes and blind shots make having a spotter a good idea. OBs are tight. Lines are tight. Most tee shots are blind toward the basket. When the course works I love it, but there's a lot about it I just don't love. I can't wait to play it again in 6-8 months to see how it grows.
