"Let's start off with what it is - a 'primitive' disc golf course in the middle of no where. Tee posts with no pads, a few trail markers here and there and baskets set in and around a desert wash with spectacular scenery. While I was able to navigate on my own successfully, I would recommend getting a map from the ranger station on your way in; a few of the par 5's take some unexpected turns. I logged 9k+ steps and 20 flights of elevation during the round.
What it's not - beginner friendly"

"Absolutely beautiful course. Placements are easy to find. Back 9 requires a lot of hiking though, bring good shoes and water!"

"The views are incredible! The course isn’t very technically challenging and there aren’t any permanent tee pads or baskets. The parks team did an amazing job with the resources they were given. It’s very fun, expect to be tired after from hiking. "

"A unique experience. You'll need to get a map at visitor center upon entrance. New layout still not on udisc. It's tricky to navigate. A lot of blind baskets. A spotter helps. It feels like much more than a 1.8 mile hike. There are some wild shots. It was beautiful, fun, challenging and a little frustrating. "
