@hyoomac
The fairways are school lawns, so they’re mowed. But the “disc golf” part has been ignored. A few baskets and tees are missing, hole #2 is an unplayable jungle, and growth interferes with a few other baskets and tees. Due to the general neglect Goucher College is just a bagging stop, But some dramatic elevation makes for some fun throws across the lawns. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
@vudujoie
Please Cut back the overgrown areas and get all the tee boxes and baskets freed up to play. This could be a great little course.
@nekbeard
Place could be a very fun 9 hole but unfortunately nobody seems to care about it
@tony
Course isn’t well maintained and the intended lines are more challenging than they need to be given the space the course has. Thick thorns border nearly every hole. Fallen trees block a lot of airspace around the baskets on 1 and 9 and completely blocks the teepad for hole 2. Surprisingly nice teepads, though.
@michelle77
Course hasn’t been touched in years, with some holes unplayable. There’s a tree resting on one of the baskets and some of the tees are overgrown. Brush is thick and thorny. Maybe someone will clean it up?
@colinmiller
It was so overgrown you could not even play hole 2 and because the tree line was overgrown, it was very easy to lose discs.
@johnicemiller
Nice practice course with some good technical holes. Course is lined by lots of thorny bushes if you throw off the fairway.
@seanhancock44
Fun hole designs, but basically the perfect practice course.
@papadev
Overgrown is an understatement for this course. Hole 2 is unplayable, but if your disc goes in the wooded area for any hole have fun dealing with every thorned plant imaginable.
@mmmasonmoore
Quick play. Very overgrown.
@kevinpaulovkin
Since they took out Hole 1 tee pad & Hole 9 basket, it’s clear this course isn’t much of a priority to Goucher. Hole 2 teepad is half covered in vines & weeds. And thorn bushes everywhere even if you land 1 foot off fairways…Hole 9 they are now re-using Hole 1 basket. Might be worth adding a Mando sign at least to make it clear it’s a short dog leg left around tree. Honestly, one of the best holes on the course is the short 180’ practice hole on the way in before reaching the course. No thorns!
@tusher
They have a disc golf course - that’s about the only good thing about it. Like the other guy said, don’t go out of your way but it’s fine if you’re here and feel like tossing around
@dhardy27
Not a bad way to spend 35 minutes if on campus and have time, don’t travel to play this course. This course is not maintained as a disc golf course. 1 has no tee but can be played. 2 has no fairway and can’t be played. 3-8 are decent holes with elevation change and some distance on some of them. Tees are beautiful concrete with in laid maps.
@collindematt
Beginner friendly, but no signs
@deaner52
#2 is impossible to play. Tall mess of grass thorns and vines
@mateosthrowing
#1 tee pad is gone. #1 and #9 basket the same? 1-3 are super over grown. 4-8 are just like normal. 9 might just be super short? Worth a play but keep expectations low.
@futuredan
Potential but clearly no upkeep
@amishsailor
Basket 1 tee is nowhere to be found. Basket 9 must’ve got removed when the building next to tennis courts was built. Never replaced the basket so it’s modified and is shared with basket 1.
