About the course

Once a large residential estate, Mt. Bradford Preserve features a mature woodland and native grass meadow. The DG course begins close to the parking lot where a practice basket and the tee for Hole 1 can be found by walking back towards Sconnelltown Rd. From there the course heads downhill, winding around and through the forest. At the bottom it enters a quarry before doubling back and crossing into the meadow. The course then heads back up the hill, in and out of forest again and back to the parking lot. Course improvements are ongoing.

Not recommended for individuals with limited mobility

There are quite a few hills in the preserve and several holes that cross down and over streams and banks. Much of the wooded hole fairways are very rocky as well.

Best 9 east of the Mississippi. A tough cookie, bring your game and patience. Both will be tested.

Still the best “nine holes with two baskets making for 18 holes” layout I have played. Challenging and varied holes (and pars) that would fit any good 18 holer. Holes 3, 4 and 7 are deeply wooded, making for tight lines during the growing season, and lots of leaves in the Fall. Make time to play both layouts; the added baskets make Mt. Bradford worth an immediate replay. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
